How durable is adamantium in relation to characters like hulk and Thor? I ask because of that sequence where hulk punches wolverine in the head until he's knocked out, and the scan of wolverine slightly cutting thor's face. Wouldn't adamantium, being as indestructible as it is, have hurt hulks hand and done more damage to Thor? I realize a lot if this is reliant upon plot and the writer but I'm curious if there's any clarity out there.

adamantium is sharp and everything but it's only dangerous on where it passes and beings like thor have a lot more denser bodies than humans do enabling them to endure such wounds.

in order for hulk to feel pain in punching such tough material, the force or mass opposing that punch should at least be equal to his. wolverine's body doesn't have the necessary force or mass to oppose such force.

Thor can dent Adamantium, it's not really dangerous for a guy like him.
