Poll Punisher: 616 or Max? (21 votes)
Hello! I want to read about the Punisher, but I don't know which to read about. I'm edging a bit to Max because of its realistic approach, which is how the Punisher should be portrayed, like Batman.

MAX! For the love of God choose MAX!
It's realistic, gritty, and grounded. There are no superheroes running around, and the story is fantastic. It's everything the Punisher should be.
It captures the exquisiteness and authenticity of the Punisher.
I choose 616 to spite Legacy's post because he's like that guy that is too passionate about something and you just wanna smack him and say "Chill out!"...
and also I never read Max.
Not that I haven't enjoyed some Punisher stories from 616 but I've always preferred Frank in the MAX line.

@legacy6364: Mission accomplished!
Yeah, from what I read of Max it was awesome. The Garth Ennis paperbacks are rad. Can't say about what came after since I've yet to get that far.
