" I was referring to the Sinestro Crops. War "I completely forgot about him during that... man I'm forgetful.

" Batman, majority of my favorite villains are in his gallery. Bane, Joker, Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, Jane Doe, Riddler, Catman, Zascz, Scarecrow, Red Hood, and Hush. "You're the first person I've seen mention Jane Doe..such a crazy villain.
" @burr787 said:I love Jane Doe, she is just like the original clay face only creepier and she has the potential to be at least a B rate villain. But no one wants to use her and I don't know why. She has all the makings of a great Batman villain: she's tragic, has a gimmick, creepy, psychotic, and clever. However I am concerned about the changes made to her in the Manhunter story." - Although taking someone's skin because she needs it does make her creepier, it takes away all of the original motives of her character. Jane takes someone's life, meaning that she takes everything about them because she doesn't see any value in herself and wants what they have.
- Jane wouldn't have just jumped Manhunter without planning, Jane would have disguised herself as Kate's(I think that's her name) assistant and kill her when she didn't expect it.
- She attacked Kate without first knowing what kind of life she has or studying her characteristics.
I hope they retcon her again and give her her skin back. Her being skinless makes her killing a need when really it's a want.

I went with X-men. Magneto, Sinister, Apocalypse, Dark Phoenix, the Brood, the Shi'ar empire, Phalanx Covenant, Belasco and any variety of demons, and the US government, not to mention appearances by Dr Doom.
I'd put GL second, not because they have the coolest or most interesting villains, but because they have consistantly powerful multilayered characters with actual depth, which is a great deal more than many cosmic level heroes get to contend with.
For me, it's almost a tie between Batman and Flash, but I think Batman edges it out (Hush ftw). Spider-Man was always kind of meh to me. Not really a huge fan, but I wasn't resentful either. Iron Man's rogues bore me, to be honest. X-Men villains are too flakey and intermittent, though granted, they have some very decent origin stories, even if they are told and retold over and over and over again.
Batman FTW! You’ve got villains from other comic brands that are of Batman villain quality, but usually that’s one or two at the most per title. Dr. Doom, Green Goblin, Magneto, Bullseye, Red Skull, Doc Ock, Loki, Lex Luthor, they’re up to par with the likes of Batman rogues, the difference is…Batman has arguably double the amount of villains of this quality. They’re also so iconic, debatably as popular and famous as the title character himself, the Joker possibly more so. You walk up to strangers on the street, ask them to name comic book villains, and you might get slight varying answers for other superhero rivals. But with Batman, casuals off the street know at least five or six. Joker, Penguin, Riddler Catwoman, and Two-Face are all ridiculously iconic faces as not just villains but comic character in general. They might not all be popular anymore, but they’re absurdly recognizable, probably due to the Adam West television series, Two-Face being the only one omitted out of those five, but making his own path through the films and animated series. Then you've got lesser knowns to outside comic book fans, but comic fans themselves know the mark that characters like Scarecrow, Ra's Al Ghul, Mr. Freeze, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, and others left. It's just no contest. Batman outranks by a long shot.
And I think they shine with people because they’re exaggerated but the best ones aren’t altogether outright unbelievable. Homicidal clowns, seductive femme fatales, bisected bipolar former buddies, obsessive compulsive geniuses, criminal kingpins, it keeps going. He’s got his super powered foes, but even they have some element of heightened realism. There’s egotistical environmentalists, psychotic past psychologists, and real sciences used to make oftentimes much more sympathetic or understanding bad guys than your average villainous caricature. Not to mention, most of all, Batman villains play on archetypes more than any other.
I'd give Spider-Man close second.
Sorry I have to give it to batman Joker, Harley Quinn, Zsaz, Deadshot, killer Croc, Rhas, & SOOOOOOO many more just cant deny him
