Please suggest me some None Geoff Jones Green Lantern comics

Now Geoff Johns has had a huge run on Green Lantern which introduced a lot of cool new concepts, had some great stories and etc. I am looking for some good Green Lantern comic books to read that are not written by Geoff Johnes. I would like to read about Hal Jordan most of all but still ANY suggestions are appreciated. (Pre The New 52 please.)

theres almost a decade of GL comics I don't recommend (immediately preceeding Geoff Johns) sure they have fans, but not many, as evidenced by the fact that the ongoing title was marked for possible cancellation immediately before Johns jumped on. sales were just awful.
