Digg is time sensitive. So if you wait to vote your vote is not worth as much. We get enough votes, we make it to Diggs homepage, and then we get lots of new people seeing the site. :)

Thanks guys, Yeah, the site went bonkos for a second. It should be a bit smoother here now. Red LAMP was completely insane with rage there for a minute.

Man I was SOOO mad. Good thing you were not in the office.

FYI: It was a caching issue. I had made this awesome caching system that turned out to be a bad idea. So I reverted to the original normal way of caching.
