reed is constantly referred to as the smartest man in marvel earth

i dont get where people are saying hank is smarter

I hate how people feel the need to rank character intelligence, especially when most of the characters are experts in different fields.

I think Hank knows more about biology-related topics than Reed, where Reed is more concentrated in physics, he even claim that he know more about Pym particles than Hank.

And I think Dr. Doom actually deserve to be called "the smartest man in the world," and he have feats against Reed to show that.

They each have done amazing things, but being smart doesn't automatically mean you know everything. Scott Lang recently figured out how to use pym particals to their full potention, something read clearly didn't think of, but his input was still noted and valued, now that he is aware the potential behind the particles he would be a good consultant. Same way Banner is clearly recommended by the others when it comes to radiation his field of expertise. Hank admitted Peter did what took him years to accomplish when he was 15 years old, doesn't mean Peter is smarter over all. Being a scientist doesn't automatically mean you can heal someone and so on. People don't even think about that, they just think smart is smart the end.

Well..Pym did create Ultron who damned near killed everyone on Earth in Age of Ultron so
