Opinions on Archie vs Predator?

I remember casually reading through an Archie book here & there as a kid and being mildly entertained by the art style and Jughead.

When I seen this crossover on the rack a couple weeks ago, I did a double-take and immediately grabbed the first two issues that were out.Seeing crazy, gratuitous gore in an Archie book is like driving past a highway accident scene involving a circus bus full of clowns and a semi-truck carrying confetti-launchers and ravenous monkeys wearing tu-tus(that would never happen); youre GOING to look.

So, anyway-does anyone have any opinion on the four-issue Archie vs Predator series?

@rocketraccoonthingy: Pretty sure Dark Horse Comics was aiming for silliness w/ this one.Its hilarious seeing Predator drawn in that Archie style.

They have another morbid-esque series w/ Archie called Archie Afterlife or something.

I guess theyre all dead & some of them dont know it(like Beetlejuice I guess?) Only flipped through it quickly though

For me, It danced on the blurred lines of edgy and funny.
