One way Avengers: Age of Ultron could end...

One way Avengers: Age of Ultron could end is with Tony standing by Rhodey's bedside and deciding the only way to save him is through cybernetic implants. Captain America joins Nick Fury's quest to take down HYDRA in Europe along with Black Widow and Hawkeye. Cap also figures he can't find Bucky but Bucky may find him. The twins decide to split up for the time being because Pietro's rash and over protective nature often brings out the worst in Wanda. Wanda goes to Greenwich Village where the Sanctum Santorum is and hopes to find the Ancient One who could help her control her powers.

Bruce Banner figures he must separate himself from the chaos on Earth even if that means abandoning any hope of being with Betty so he decides to go with Thor to Asgard. Its at this point, Thor and Banner are confronted by Heimdall who has Loki in chains. It seems by dethroning Odin, Loki has inadvertently set things in motion that will bring about Ragnarok. For the time being, the Avengers are disassembled.

One way AoU could end: They realize they can't defeat or kill Ultron because he keeps coming back no matter how many bodies or computers they destroy so they sent him off into space where he will return as the main villain in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY 2: THE ANNIHILATION SAGA

Replace Annihilus with Ultron? I'm good with that. They can go with the Annihilation Conquest route, instead of Annihilation and use some of the source material from that story for the next GOTG movie. Which they should do, since most of the current team was founded during Annihilation Conquest. I would also want them to add a couple of new members like Mantis.

@humanrocket: Only problem with that is James Gunn wants to keep Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy mutually exclusive. More than likely, Scarlet Witch and Vision will be the ones who take down Ultron because Ultron can't possibly fathom the length of Wanda's power plus the Vision can phase through matter so he should be able to immobilize Ultron.

@ravenvice01: There are rumours that Age of Ultron is based on Ultron Unlimited, so if that´s true, Wanda will be the key to defeat Ultron.

@thor_parker82: that's great to hear. It seems like the movie has elements of avengers disassembled but scarlet witch as a bad guy will be overshadowed by ultron

Iron man goes to space and finds the GOTG in the second movie!

Ultron kills them all.

Stark and banner make ultron and vision. They defeat ultron multiple times but he always comes back. Ultron kills rhodey hawkeye and defeats the rest of the avengers scarlet witch takes control of hulk thor leaves sensing danger in asgard hulk rampages no thor to stabalize him stark js forced to use hulk buster nearly kills hulk ultron disables hulk buster they try to defeat uktron they fail vision comes and does damage to ultron but is bested and destroyed vision telling stark hes sorry and has failes stark cries thinking of visionand rhodey fights ultron hulk wakes up they both grab an end of ultron and cap uses his shield to cut ultron clean in half afterward hulk is sent to space by the government cap widow and stark are taken into custody quicksilver and scarler witch go on the run and nick fury is still hiding

Rhodey is gonna die.

At least him.

Everyone dies. The end. No more Marvel movies. All the future ones they named are lies.

@mandog: At the very least, Rhodey will get mangled and end up in a coma. He will become a cyborg like he did in the comics.
