No way. That's like saying Clark Kent is Superman!
Why can't they accept it? Is it really that far fetched to think Bruce Wayne is Batman?
And while I like the implications, I cant wrap my head around Batman doing this and putting everyone else in danger.
Personally I think Joker does know. I mean the whole idea that Bruce doesn't believe so simply because Joker didn't react to the card seems a bit careless in my opinion. I think Bruce is just too afraid to believe the Joker could ever figure it out, basically going into denial about the whole thing by telling himself Joker doesn't know.
Well, Bruce Wayne is a rich kid whose never worked a day in his life. His parents up and died, he was taken to a police station from the crime scene, and his BUTLER came to pick him up. In the eyes of the public, he's never wanted for anything. He doesn't have to worry about his company, it runs itself on it's own and he just benefits. He dates beautiful women, a different one every time he pops up, and his expression rarely changes in public from the cocky smile of someone whose never been told 'No.'
Now does this sound even REMOTELY like the kind of person who would put on a bat costume and go out into Gotham every night, beating up criminals and matching wits with the likes of the Riddler? Never speaking above a low growl, always in control of the situation, no matter how hard you try and make him think he isn't?
Basically, think about what your reaction would be if you were told Tony Stark is Batman. Seems a bit unlikely, doesn't it?
Well Gorden basically figured it out as soon as Bruce came back to Gotham, with very little trouble. So there's that at least. As for the whole "Bruce Wayne doesn't seem like the kind of guy who could be Batman" thing, why would Batman act like Batman when he's trying to hide his identity?
