Exclusive: Marvel Launching Uncanny Inhumans Comic Book

Soule and McNiven. I am definitely in.

EDIT: Kang the Conqueror as the first villain written by Soule and drawn by McNiven makes this my most anticipated book of 2015 at the moment.

@theacidskull: that they are trying to replace X men with Inhuman. I think the OP is pointing to the use of the word "uncanny" as it has been long associated to X men stories.

You know what would have been better? Not kicking out Matt Fraction and replacing him with Charles Soule. I was really excited to see what Fraction had planned for the Inhumans, but because Marvel didn't like the direction he was going to took him off the book. Noe Fraction is leaving Hawkeye and Marvel all together. Good work Marvel.

@jonny_anonymous: That's what I've heard, but even if it's not the reason I still think that Marvel dropped the ball. Infinity was a great build up and an overall great event me interested in the Inhumans. I was really excited for the Inhumanity/Inhuman book that was spinning out of Infinity. But the books were delayed and my interest faded. I finally gave the book a chance, but I felt that it wasn't anything what I was expecting. Not bad, but not great either.

I know Marvel is really trying to push the Inhumans since they have a movie based on them coming out, but I feel that they are pushing the Inhumans the wrong way.

I swear to god if Age of Ultron makes the twins Inhumans...

Maybe Paul Jenkins will some day come back to Inhuman. I loved his run of Inhumans.

McNiven's art is reason enough for me to buy this book, regardless of what they call it. With a movie on the horizon, it was inevitable that Marvel would raise the Inhumans' profile in the comics. It may be good. It may not. The Inhumans, though, will never really replace the X-Men, or mutants in general. The Inhumans have been around for decades, and they've never been terribly popular. Interesting, but not popular. Much like the Eternals. Everyone has a favorite X-Man... mine's Banshee... or mutant character. Few have a favorite Inhuman.

No one cares about the Eternals.

@lone_wolf_and_cub: Well, I certainly do. Clearly the writers don't. Claremont phased him out of the X-Men, even crippling him for several years. Brubaker brought him briefly out of retirement, just to kill him. The Banshee has never been given a fighting chance, to carve out a piece of the Marvel Universe as his own, but I've always thought he was cool. One of those characters with lots of unrealized potential.
