OFFICIAL: No Wonder Woman movie!

Well I don't know about u guys but I already figured this was the case...but their is NO WW movie at the moment. Director Michelle McLoren who's attached to direct WW let it slip in an interview saying "be warned" ther is no script, no actual release date and that the movie still isn't greenlit. Is any of us really surprised?

I figured all along this( false film slate) was just a way to build hype for BvS and try to nab some would be lnvestors in the process.

Expect Ben's Batman reboot to be the first film after BvS. Like it would have been any other way.

But as of right now according to the director of the film the WW movie is as real as a Bouncing boy movie.

So will we ever get a WW movie?

The title is misleading. The box office results of BvS will be the main answer for your question. You have a year and half before you find out.

Wait... you strongly stated that there is no WW film but in the last sentence you're asking if there will be a WW film? Seriously, I don't see where you're heading with this thread. The announcement that DC made is something that shouldn't be stated as a joke. Delays can happen but being incapable of fulfilling the said film would just be a weak move a movie publisher can do in the movie industry.

That slate was the official announcement, the director is confirmed, a screen writer has already been hired so it's definitely going to happen, I think what she meant is that there's still no script so the production hasn't started yet. It's still more than 2 years till 2017 so this is not a huge deal. I'm still pretty sure WW movie will be released in 2017.

I think she meant that a script hasn't be written and the movie isn't in any stage of production yet... There is still 2 and nearly a half years till WW is set to release so there is still time...

I was talking about the movie version but yeah I'd say the TV version better specially when you consider the fact that it was made in 70's, this one looks like it was made for a cheap porn movie which is actually true. Also I didn't knew WW appeared in Smallville.
