And let's not forget the asian martial artist (Cheshire, Shiva, Cassandra Cain, Shang Chi...), who still can't keep up with the white protagonists.

Anyway. Though this was more of a 90's thing, I really hated the token characters. Token female(Aka "The Hostage"), Token Black guy ( AKA "The outcast with a heart of gold"), Token Fan insertion ( I'M LOOKING AT YOU SNAPPER CAR!)
