Aside from the ones in the article (Civil War, Old Man Logan), I'd really love to see the following as an animated movie: Kraven's Last Hunt Green Lantern: Sinestro Corps War Maximum Carnage Punisher vs Bullseye Punisher MAX Hush Age of Apocalypse Villains United
Returns being made into an animated film is one of my dreams come true in regards to animating storylines. Can't wait for Part 2. At the same time, Kingdom Come will need to be a 2 or 3 parter at least to give it Justice. Hush has to be a 2-parter. Also Morrison's JLA arc during the 90s needs to be made as well, the White Martians story.
For Marvel, who isn't a fan of the Infinity Gauntlet story, c'mon. 2 parter for that at least! For an 80 minute animated movie, i'd like to see Days of Future Past.
Daredevil's "Last Rites" story arc was pretty terrific, but the original Daredevil movie might have permanently tainted Kingpin beyond saving on film. Still, I'll go with that story arc - it's got everything a great comic book movie could ask for. Hero overcoming his personal demons to finally crush the baddie? Check. Hero able to forgive a lifelong enemy? Check. Badass imagery? Check and check.
Catwoman: Selina's Big Score, Wonder Woman: The Witch and The Warrior; New Teen Titans: Judas Contract, origin and second battle with Trigon (when Raven "dies")
Civil War would be very interesting to see in movie form but I'd pay multiple amounts of money to see a decent Secret Invasion animated movie or TV series.
Jack Kirby's New Gods. As several Mini stories like the Green Lantern: Emerald Knights movie. I see it as The High Father telling the children of New Genesis.
Superman: Brainiac is actually on the works, apparently (source). This news was kinda dissapointing to me, because I wanted to see Last Son and Legion of Superheroes first, with Escape from Bizarro World as a two-part animated short.

Id like to see more Batman ones such as The Killing Joke,Hush,Knightfall which should be done in a similar way to The Dark Knight Returns,in multiple parts.
@LLZ69: They are working towards putting Thanos in the live action avengers and i think they showed the infinity gauntlet in asgard during Thor's movie. So you might get your wish far as the infinity gauntlet saga.
I'd like a better adaptation for the Death of Superman that is closer to the comics and involves Booster Gold, Maxima, and the others when Doomsday first emerged (they keep remaking marvel movies why not remake animated ones for DC) I know a lot of people disliked it but I want to see the Ultimate Spiderman Clone Saga animated, I liked it better than the mainstream version. The Avengers Disassembled when Scarlet Witch went crazy would be good too since the US is all hyped on Avengers juice right now. World War Hulk would be awesome since they already did Planet Hulk. The fight with Sentry would look awesome animated.
I would definitely love to see Civil War being adapted into an animated movie, but i would also love to see Knightfall, Blackest Night, Maximum Carnage and Secret Invasion.
It would be kewl to see the Shadowland story arc played out. You got more paneltime for some great characters that have incredibly crafted storylines [Moon Knight's multiple personalities and his clash w/ his long-lost brother, Luke Cage/Jessica Jones being parents, Colleen Wing and the new Daughters of the Dragon] plus a dramatic blur in the line between good/evil with the murder of Bullseye and Daredevil being leader of the Hand. Plus some awesome fight scenes that are more hand-to-hand rather than just energy projectors, reality manipulators and telepaths. And who couldn't stand a little more Iron Fist-ing in their life?
DC's movies are vastly superior to Marvels, with that said I would love to see a xmen: nation x movie or Legion of Super Heroes: The Great Darkness Saga. Kingcome Come, JLA: New World Order or Obsidian Age.
