In the daytime, work as a completely different superhero who charges money for each heroic deed.

Although more seriously, cab driver.

A superhero costume maker. Then you can spend your day fixing the costumes you've broken at night.

Best Job?

It would have to be in the media or law enforcement area, I think being a Police Detective, a Lawyer or even a News Correspondent would be great

Head of shield aka iron man during the civil war. Near unlimtied resources. Minons to do your bidding. Borderline peerlessness.

Something that relaxes the superhero, but doesn`t have strict hours. A painter, a novelist, a comic maker (in a country like Finland), an aromatherapist, yoga instructor or something else like that.

Police detective seems like a good one. But, the question is, are you allowed to kill? (Legally, police officers are allowed to shoot a criminal, right - depending upon the situation and circumstances). Would you still be a hero if you kill?

Anything involving internet, like site management stuff.Or writer.

You'll never know when crime calls, and these jobs don't usually have fixed timetables.

Professional fighter, like a boxer or MMA fighter. Or just be a ronin by day, taking odd jobs that usually involve you doing violence unto someone.

@mrfuzzynutz: the problem with being a police detective would be that you couldn't just disappear when you need to, at least you would be in real trouble if sombody saw you vanish while you're on duty

Seriously as much as I like him, Clark Kent's job as a reporter in a news room is the crappiest there is to hide his heroic ID.
