I know I'm late to this thread, but after reading about GoG movie (characters I know little about), I discovered 'Nova Corps' and was curious.

I'm not being snarky or facetious, I know everything is influenced from something else, but what team of 'space police' pre-dates Green Lantern Corps in the realm of comics? This is a genuine trivia question I'm trying to ask, not trying to prove some fanboy point or anything.

But I have to add... anyone named 'Dick Rider' is going to always on the losing end of EVERY comparison. Just saying. :P
