What kind of things do you like so far?  Or what TV programmes & movies do you like?  It helps to know what your tastes are.

Xerox is right....

Do you like heroes like Superman, Batman, Wonder Womand and the Jusstice League?
Do you like Spider-Man, Iron Man, and the X-Men?
or do you like Watchmen, Hellboy and Buffy?

That way it be easier to pick a title for you!

@sora_thekey: Yes what do you like? Good old superheroes like Spider-man? Dark ones like Wolverine? No powers like Batman? Lots of powers like Superman? Do you want other stuff too or just superhero stuff?

@osar9i1: As you may already heard Bruce Wayne the classic Batman is "out of town". So if you want to give a try to the new Batman you may like to pick Batman and Robin #1 - It's a brand new team! Or maybe you can start by reading Battle for the Cowl of Batman! - If you prefer classic Batman there's Batman Confidential a comic book I think it's not in the current events of Bruce's life, but I don't think I ever read any of the confidential, so I don't know how good the comic is. Like xerox-kitty said, Hush is a cool comic, Batman fans always like it, the art is just so beautiful and all cool characters are there like Catwoman, Superman, Poison Ivy....Personally as fan of both Superman and Batman I love a good story of the Superman / Batman comic book, a book just for the best team-up ever!

As for the X-Men I like the classic touch of the X-Men: First Class =D

Just for the heck of it I leave you with a few teasers for Batman: Hush

ivy, cat, bat

If you want an absolutely crap X-comic then go for it. Otherwise do as Xerox-Kitty suggested and get some classic Uncanny X-Men with the Essential trades. Messiah Complex and Whedon's Astonishing are also really good, and I would highly recommend Grant Morrisson's run on New X-Men. As for current X-comics, X-Force is a great.

As far as Batman is concerned I would definately do as others have suggested and buy Batman and Robin #1, a great first issue for a promising series.

Uncanny X-men First Class is a lot worse than Uncanny X-Men.
