New Avengers vs New 52 JL members. Incursion event.

So I just read "New Avengers #19" and I was wondering what you fine group of experts would think of the actual justice league being there.

I'll give the details below but note the possibility for SPOILERS.

So we have the New Avengers:

Black bolt

Namor

Reed Richards

Iron man

Beast

Black panther

Hulk (with an inhibitor that keeps Bruce in charge and not HULK)

And Dr strange who is possessed by a powerful demon.

Vs

New 52 Justice League

Superman

Batman

Flash

Green lantern

Dr fate

Martian man hunter

So for those who haven't read the comic, there is an event called an "incursion" in which two earths from two universes are colliding. This will destroy both universes unless one earth is destroyed.

The new avengers plan was to use a bomb to blow up the other earth. They also got to watch and study the other heroes for a few days.

SPOILER

In the comic Dr strange unleashes the demon which kills most of the DC analogs and deeply wounds Sun god (basically superman).

I can't help but think that the real justice league (even without cyborg, wonder woman, and aqua man) would have done much better.

Well The Avengers are better at destroying worlds. I don´t think that the League is prepared to do so.

See my problem is that I think both arguments above are completely correct. JLA > Illuminati avengers (as I think of them)

But avengers have a world bomb and prior knowledge of their opponents.

Also let's not forget Stephen strange has a huge power boost here.

That said I want JLA to win. I would think Supes and flash solo. But IDK

I'm not saying the New Avengers win...but did anyone see what Doc Strange did to the Great Society by himself?

@humanrocket: yeah I'm wondering if doctor fate would fare better against that.

I still choose JLA because instead on fighting other heroes, they always find ways to work with each other.

@saint_sophie: So I'm limited to mobile version right now so I can't seem to post scans, but in new avengers #14 doctor strange sells his entire soul in exchange for power that can "move worlds and shake them to their foundations... To tear planets from the heavens and place them in a new sky". Apparently this is granted to him. I don't think JLA can muscle this one...

Again I want this group of dirt bags to get their comeuppance but I'm just not seeing it. Perhaps we could get some better formulated arguments from JLA supporters?

@vinomonster: I think that's their biggest weakness here. They all meet under the guise that they are two teams of their world's best heroes and they are going to work together to stop this crisis and save both planets.

Though I don't see batman falling for that nor MMH
