New Avengers Movie Vs Thanos?

How are they gonna win? I don't see marvel making this movie even close to accurate unless they kill off everyone.

Or, they could give them some help...

The same way 3 regular humans were able to assist in a battle with an advanced alien army......

They simply weaken Thanos just like what they have done to every other characters.

Nah it's a battle thread. I wanna know who will win. I mean obviously the avengers but how? How would they currently beat thanos.

Hey, if the mods keep it in here its obviously good. They will win one of two ways. Either A)Major plot device, like a super machine created by Tony and Bruce, or like some divine intervention taking over, i.e. Odin coming to stop him, idk. OR, B) Thanos beats himself by killing people and then death goes, "Nah, I still don't love you" and he goes "Damn, mine aswell put everything back to normal". Kind of like what happens in the books, at times.

its obviously gonna be PIS, remember iron man fighting thor and somehow not getting destroyed within 5 seconds? Id like to see Adam Warlock in this though

Thanos might not be the antagonist in the second movie coz they're going to make 3 Avenger films, wouldn't it better for him to be the villain of the third due to his status

All the Thanos cameo means is that at some point they are going to release a movie with Thanos in it. Doesn't necessarily even have to be an Avengers Movie....and if it is...it doesn't necessarily have to be the team as it is right now.

Also, Since we have no idea how strong Movie Thanos will be...there's no reason to think the Avengers will need PIS to win. None of the movie avengers are as powerful as their comic book counterparts...why should Thanos be any different?

1: Movie versions are weaker, so we can't compare like that.

2: Iron Man's armor was at 400% power during that fight, and Thor still had the upper hand.

Maybe it's a tragic movie and they die, just for once. I can see it happening.

I was thinking ths too, I mean at the end of every movie they did an Avengers Nick Fury cameo thing, and Avengers didn't come out until after every other movie was done. I was thinking it would be the same with this, mostly due to the reasoing that if Thanos comes out for 2 who would they get for 3? To me Thanos is kinda the biggest badguy they can use.

@tg1982: There is also that Alien guy that fought for the Nazis and tried to conquer Black Panther's city. I think they're the same morphing race.

@troller: That's what the title is but this is a question that needs to be answered in the General Discussions forum and isn't actually a battle.It's how are they going to defeat.We can't have a winner.

You mean in the cartoon movie? If so wasn't he actually called a Chitauri. Like in the first one. Which is weird since the Chitauri weren't shape shifters in the movie.

@tg1982: Yes, they could use the plot, and a background story. They already have feedback from that cartoon story which could be added to the input of the first movie (The Avengers). They could also increase the group numbers with Ant Man and Black Panther, it think it could be a good movie.

Note: I always took them from shape-shifters because that's how Captain calls them.

Technically speaking, they just showed the existence of Thanos. I don't think it's confirmed that he will be the major villain in the second movie.

Avengers are going to have the help of the Guardians of the Galaxy most likely. Avengers + Guardians of the Galaxy = Fair match against Thanos.

From what I understand, Avengers 2 will be about espionage and won't feature Thanos. Guardians of the Galaxy will serve as his introduction. The third Avengers movie will be a combination of the Avengers, GotG, and everyone else who will likely join the cast between now and then.

This does seem like the best move they can do.

They'll probably just de-power Thanos like they did the cosmic cube.

how thanos would lose 3 steps in other words PIS has to be used.

1) the movie would make ironman smart enough to foil his plans. (thanos plans never fail except for the vast number of enemies that come to stop him)

2) thor, black widow, hawkeye and whoever would act as distractions, he loses focus (keep in mind these guys wouldn't get his attention) even cap would be lucky enough to get a few decent hits on thanos

3) lastly as for what the general public audience wants to see, the movie allows hulk to smash thanos. it just seems to be an expectation ever since hulk hilariously tossed loki around.

after all this is a movie and the bad guys are always expected to lose to the good guys one way or another

Thanos is going to be a city buster at best. He is going to be really weak.
