Green Arrow.
New 52 vs Marvel NOW Tournament
@g_leno: he's on a hot streak with a poplular tv show that is synergizing a sucessful comic.
However, we are voting on the comics, the tv show (which is very good) should not be considered in this competition. People have commented that batman has not been as good as its court of owls arc, yet GA is currently on top form, but was frankly one of the most dire comics for its first couple of arcs. It should never have got further than Thor or Superior Spiderman.
DING DING DING!!!!
And there you have it folks, the tournament is over.
In Third place, with 7 votes, The Emerald Archer, Green Arrow!!
In second place, with 10 votes, The Man without fear, Daredevil!!!
And the winner of the tournament, The King of the Seven Seas, The Ruler of the Throne of Atlantis
AQUAMAN!!!!!!
@saint_rog_el: Lmfao!
I love Aquaman but I don't think its the best comic out there.

Who would you have wanted to win? out of curiousity.
Best comic not named Saga :-)
Word. I literally got caught up with it this morning. Now, it shall be added to my pull.
I also plan on doing this again probably in a year or so when Marvel and (hopefully) DC both have fresh titles under their belts.

Yeah. I thought Aquaman got better each Arc. Death of King is probably one of the (if not THE) best Aquaman story ever told. Its no exaggeration to say this run has been the (hopefully just the start) of a golden age for him.
Peter David's run in the 90's was good for story, but a lot of people don't care for it because Aquaman isn't really portrayed as all that powerful. The run in the 2000's he's got mad feats but the story is a little iffy lol
This run has a beautiful mix of both. Hopefully Jeff Parker keeps it going!
Its my favorite comic period, even though I can admit Saga is better objectively speaking.
Thor had a great start, but the Dark Elf stuff is a noticeable drop off (still not bad by any means). Green Arrow was aids to start but is now amazing, etc.
Aquaman has arguably been DC's most consistent title along side Animal Man and Swamp Thing, probably. Wonder Woman in particular i think suffers from being too mythos heavy and can forget Diana at times...also after seeing Tony Daniel's work on Superman/WW I wish he would draw her main title lol. Still great title, just little nitpicks that keep it out of my absolute top. I literally cannot complain about anything Aquaman has done (i may be biased, but still, i havent heard anyone else complain either)
I have nothing wrong with aquaman, But Thor is definitely my favorite that was in the list.
@fallschirmjager: I thought Demon Knights was consistently the best title of DC....but I guess readers didn't.
Aquaman beat out Green Arrow and Daredevil? Something is wrong here.
I don't like Aquaman at all :|
@the_stegman: never read it >_>

My favorite DC book right now is Phantom Stranger so I would have voted for it against pretty much anything else. Same goes for Animal Man or Swamp Thing.
Man DC had a strong showing in this tourney, what beat the Uncanny Avengers? b/c that book is actually getting damn good
@hushofthewind: batman beat UA
I still prefer Wonder Woman but I have to admit, Johns' Aquaman is something I am very tempted to pick up at a later date given how well he's reinvented Aquaman. I loved what he did with Hal and that made Hal into my 5th favourite character so even though Johns has been on a downward spiral lately with Justice League, he still has some writing potential left in him.
yay AQUAMAN!!!! Awesome to see him win out of all the comics, even though his book is not my very favorite.
