Nation Awakes - The First Pakistani Superhero Movie

Has anyone heard anything about this movie? I don't have much information about it, but a teaser's supposed to be released in June. As far as I can see, it looks pretty cool. Gotta say, I am loving that costume. What do you guys think?

@betatesthighlander1: Yeah, but it's not doing so good. The guy who's making this movie is trying to put comics and superheroes in the spotlight in Pakistan. I've never really taken any interest in Pakistani cinema, but this doesn't look so bad.

@awesam: any idea who the superhero in it is?

@betatesthighlander1: I guess we'd have to wait for the teaser or trailer to get a good idea of what the movie's about, but from what I can tell, he's an original creation who has the usual superhero background and story. I don't know much about the creator either since I live in Canada.

I'm pretty sure he also has a sword. Also, just because someone has a green costume, doesn't mean it's Green Lanterns. What if he's just eco-friendly?

I take it the costume's motif takes after the Pakistan flag. Is the movie's name 'Nation Awakes?' Is the superhero's name 'Pakistan'?

I'm actually not sure. When I first saw the poster, it was just the star, so I immediately thought it was Booster Gold, until I saw it was Pakistani. Could just be multi-titled movie.

@awesam: any idea what kind of budget they had for this movie?

After doing a quick google search, I think its going to be an animated film. There is a 2d story board teaser and a production video on the facebook page.
