we all know wonder woman,batman,superman,aquaman....the entire jla
we all know the avengers,(im not listing,im trying to get to the main point)
we all know deathstroke....and we all know deadpool (although depending on what you like,more people like deadpool,not a landslide more,because i like both,ds a little more)
we all know green arrow,and we all know hawkeye
we all know wonder woman....nobody knows power princess
we all know aquaman...we all know namor
the point is many of marvel's characters are deemed copys of the orignals from dc comics....for example,captain america was not the first patriotic hero,it was shield...but marvel turns their characters into something different,therefore,its not a copy...for example,hawkeye was turned into something WAY different than green arrow..and even though i like DC,i cant get mad if the companies pastiche each other,its just that dc has more famous ones,for example,i ask someone who is aquaman,they would tell me,i ask someone who is namoor,they get confused,but namor was turned into something different than aquaman...and power princess was somewhat of a copy of wonder woman,its just that wonder woman is WAY better IMO and power princess was turned into something different....point is,marvel does tend to copy some things off of dc...but i hope you can realize that they turn their characters WAY different,because with dc (even though i love dc),their pastiches are more "direct" to the character or characters..for example,look up maximums on comicvine,they are direct off of avengers,and marvels squadron supreme...i can barely tell that they are pastiches of JLA,but dc does disguise some of their pastiches,like champions of angor,or meta militia,i just like dc way more though....and marvel disguises their pastiches,dc doesnt really that much,but scarlet witch has a pastiche called silver sorceress....but she is one of the ones who is cleverly disguised (ss).
in short,marvel conceals their pastiches better,like the squadron supreme,originally they were pastiches of the JLA,but they took a different route,and even the characters and the original team,i can barely compare to the jla,they were their own characters,dc has its pastiches too that did the same,but dc kept the maximums the way they were,but marvel took it totally different to the point you cant even call them copies
