My Justice League Movie Casting
You have me at Idris Elba as John Stewart, But I still want to see these two play Aquaman and Wonder Woman....... I haven't figured out who I would like to see play the Flash or Green Lantern yet........
@spideysense44: Thanks
@oceanicss: she would be another good choice
I think I'd swap in Michael Fassbender to play Batman and Daniel Craig to play Aquaman, but otherwise a great cast. Whether Martian Manhunter is white or black in human form is a thing that's switched back and forth in both the comics and the animated series, so as a white option if that's the way they decided to go, I'd say Mark Strong.
@roboadmiral: But with the new 52 everyone is younger so idk about Daniel Craig as aquaman he looks preempt old
@judasnixon: your aquaman looks kinda old
@knightfall225: I think Aquaman is a character who can afford to be a tad older. He's the king of Atlantis, so there has to be a regal quality that most 20-somethings can't muster.
Justice League
- Superman - Matthew Bomer
This is who I'd select if for some reason Henry Cavill doesn't return as Superman for Justice League. If I remember correctly he had been cast temporarily as Superman in the past (the failed Superman Lives) and is the voice actor for the character in the upcoming animated adaptation of Geoff John's Brainiac.
- Batman - Joe Manganiello
He's best known for Brad in How I Met Your Mother. He towers over even Jason Segel, so he definitely has the physical presence to pull off a believable Batman.
- Hal Jordan - Geoff Stultz
He starred in The Finder. I've never seen the show, but he's a big dude with comedic timing.
- Barry Allan - Liam Hemsworth
Billy the Kid from Expendables 2. If you've seen that movie, you know he has instant likability.
- Wonder Woman - Sarah Lancaster
She's best known as Ellie from Chuck, where she demonstrates the acting range to go from sweet to tough and back again.
Misc.
- Mera - Karen Gillan
The smoking hot red-head from Doctor Who.
- John Stewart - Isaiah Mustafa
He's the guy from the Old Spice commercials that's not Ray Lewis; like Sarah Lancaster, he also was on Chuck. Still, I'd prefer Hal Jordan, as he's got a classic comic book bromance with Barry Allan, just like Bruce and Clark.
- Lois Lane - Kay Panabaker
- Lucy Lane - Kaitlyn Dever
- Supergirl - Dianna Argon
The most beautiful woman alive today, she played a cheerleader on Heroes and later Glee.
@rideaspacecowboy: well at least we both agree on who should play the Bat
manganiello can be a good Batman. I agree with most of your choices however please please please no Ryan Gosling as Batman!

If you look way back on my post history you'll see I've been championing him for months. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one, however. Far too many actors who are chosen to depict muscle-bound comic book heroes are themselves absolutely anemic in comparison. Chris Hemsworth and Henry Cavill are the only two exceptions of the top of my mind, and even they don't compare to the way most artists draw Thor and Superman, respectively.
@fallen_crippled: Thanks
@batman242: look it up there are a bunch of reasons why............
the question is why don't you wont him to play Batman

I really prefer someone who's a bigger guy. I want him to look like Batman from The Animated series (first few seasons) and Dark Knight Returns. Be a big guy with a bold face and broad shoulders. I guess Vin Diesel would be a good candidate..... Under the cowl at least.
@batman242: He wouldn't fit the Bruce Wayne part though. But my second choice Joe Manganiello is big so he would be a good choice.
@sandman_: How tall is Henry Cavill??

Yea, I know. That's why I said "under the cowl at least". The guy playing Batman should also be able to move freely in his suit and truly show some martial arts. Bale's wasn't that impressive, it was entertaining though. Bale was a good Bruce.
Batman and Superman should be about the same height. Superman should be an inch higher.
@sandman_: O wow i didn't know he was so short.....o well i guess i'll stick with Gosling as my first choice hopefully he is around the same size as Cavill
@knightfall225: Yes, Goslin is around his height...he also could be Flash....Goddammit, I hope they announce something in the Superman panel Saturday.
@sandman_: I hope they do. Dc always keeps everything a secret "/
@knightfall225: Lets see what happens Saturday, that is the big day.
