Caligula.
Movies people hated but you liked
man, I do enjoy a entertaining 'bad' movie lol
- Bubble Boy
- Cry Baby
- League of Extraordinary Gentlemen
- Showtime
- Sky Captain and The World of Tomorrow
Hands down my top 5 good bad movie list, I will stop and watch these no matter when or when its on.
- X-Men: The Last Stand
- X-Men Origins: Wolverine
- Spider-Man 3
- The Dark Knight Rises (I know it was overall acclaimed, but it seems most on here hate it for no reason other than it was different from the comics. I'm not exaggerating or anything, that's the only reason anyone ever gives me for why they hate it)
- Green Lantern (it wasn't great or anything, but it was nowhere near as bad as people say)
- Catwoman (see Green Lantern)
- Batman & Robin (okay, this is an awful awful movie. But that's why I love it so much. It's just a fun thing to watch)
- The Dark Knight Rises (I know it was overall acclaimed, but it seems most on here hate it for no reason other than it was different from the comics. I'm not exaggerating or anything, that's the only reason anyone ever gives me for why they hate it)
I forgot to add that to my list as well. And yeah I do agree with you, not many people gave it a valid reason to hate on it at all. Nothing against the Joker, but I think he kinda spoiled people onto that and expected something like an easter egg or reference.
- League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (which I hear has people getting pissy because of Alan Moore)
- Watchmen (which I hear has people getting pissy because of Alan Moore)
- Dredd
- Van Helsing
- The Matrix Reloaded/Revolution (people are just mad they didn't reinvent the wheel like the first one did)
- Man of Steel
- Hulk/The Incredible Hulk
- Dark Knight Rises (another movie getting slammed because of assumptions)
- Prometheus
@runawayavenger: Forrest Gump has a 73% critic rating and a 95% user rating on Rotten Tomatoes. It was also a hit at the box office. What makes you say it wasn't well received?
Stuck on You ? Matt damon and Greg Kinnear are conjoined twins....Cher...
The Riddick series. Sci-fi fangirl in me
the 300 movies, People hate now I guess. They didn't back then
G.I. Joe, leagues better then Transformers(no scrotum jokes)
Ernest anything. Sweet well meaning kids movies. Trust me, there are worse
There only one movie I like that critics and casual movie goers seem to unanimously hate worldwide, X-Men Origins:Wolverine, I never saw it as a bad movie even after all the hate. And I will admit I've been convinced to dislike movies I initially liked because of people on the Internet. Since then I learned to develop my own opinions. But yeah for what it is I really enjoy this film and not even in a it's so bad it's good way.
Thers two other movies I thought of but I didn't mention in my first post. The first is daredevil another I just legitimately like as a movie and second is Spiderman 3. Spiderman 3 is weird for me though because some parts I really like even though they can be really corny but other things I hate and still other aspects of the film I find entertaining in a it's so bad it's hilarious way. I have so many feelings toward this movie that it's really an experience watching it and for some reason I always get this craving to watch it again

im more likely to hate a popular movie (that sucks) ( like AVATAR) than like an unpopular movie.
unless you count cult classics. I LOVE EVIL DEAD, clockwork orange, Brazil, Breathless, Eraserhead, Fight club, and sooo many more.
How about the classic The Vampire Lovers of Hammer Films? Some love it, some hate it... I'm the lover. No, not the vampire lover. hehe
That thing should be in a list of classics.
To answer your question I find Amazing Spider-Man 2 to be highly underrated. Sure it had its flaws, but overall it was a great movie!
I don't have this problem. However I really want to watch Dredd with my friends but none of them are interested in it. I think it looks pretty rad.
