Superman. He's the original superhero! Every comic company has made a copy/version of him(gladiator,sentry,supreme ect). He's saved the world more times than anyone,but so many times he gets downplayed as just another super guy. Even Batman said "the last time you inspired anyone is when you died". I know He's gone through a ton of changes(upgrades and downgrades) to his power levels,but IMO he's underated for who he is.

I would disagree. He was placed in the some entertainment Magazines Top 50 Heroes and Villains. First he said it was saving Metroplis from Doomsday, helping that train in Superman, then said oh no wait it's being Superman most heroric act.
On the vine: Nightcrawler, Gambit, Beast, Spiderman, Lobo (I know he's not a hero, but he's still dismissed regularly), Nightwing, Sabertooth......can't think of anymore offhand :)

I would say the only one of those who is underrated on the vine is Beast...all the others get thier fair share.

I do hope that's true but, not from my experience :)
cyclops is underappreciated by alot of people, wolverine is overrated....luke cage is under rated to me, batman is way overrated, superman is underaprecciated, and thats all i can think of right now
But I guess when his rogues are considered less than impressive it's easy to overlook him."
