As the title says, who are the most underrated Star Wars characters and why?
Boba Fett! At least for those who read a good amount of Boba Fett comics. Often people see him as the guy who got beat by a blind Han Solo with a pole. But that really only happened because of plot device. You read some good Boba Fett comics and you'll find he's pretty damn impressive.
Probably one of the most complex and best written character in the entire Star Wars franchise. She's powerful, wise, intelligent, and Machiavellian. A villain who knows how to effectively manipulate and use power. She urges others to achieve their goals through hardship and struggle. Most importantly of all, she respects those who have the inner strength and will to turn away from the seduction of power. Plus she's got some amazing dialogue.
“Direct action is not always the best way. It is a far greater victory to make another see through your eyes than to close theirs forever.”
“A lightsaber—any weapon—only achieves worth in how it is wielded—in the effort, the struggle of one who holds it.”
“A culture’s teachings, and most importantly, the nature of its people, achieve definition in conflict. They find themselves… or they find themselves lacking.”
