Awwh, I wanted to say it.

clone troopers are a good answer. force users as a whole are only portrayed the way they should be in cartoons and books

#10 Posted by jobiwankenobi (1459 posts) - - Show Bio

Clone Troopers for real.

Qui-Gon-Jinn is the best jedi imo, and he never seems to get any love.

#11 Posted by GodOfMischief (634 posts) - - Show Bio

Yeah Qui-Gon is cool, was actually a really pivotal character in the series as well which is often forgotten.

Freaking Starkiller

The dude that didn't like Luke Skywalker at the Space-bar

#16 Posted by Fetts (4329 posts) - - Show Bio

Boba Fett! At least for those who read a good amount of Boba Fett comics. Often people see him as the guy who got beat by a blind Han Solo with a pole. But that really only happened because of plot device. You read some good Boba Fett comics and you'll find he's pretty damn impressive.

@Fetts: Boba Fett has a large fan base despite his awful "demise". I don't think he is underrated in the slightly more nerdy communities

#19 Posted by Fetts (4329 posts) - - Show Bio
@guttridgeb: That's true. But he is still often underrated. Even in the slightly more nerdy communities.

The only good part about the prequels to me

He can wield four lightsabers and is a Cyborg. Yeah grievous is awesome.

Zuckuss

#24 Posted by GodOfMischief (634 posts) - - Show Bio

@Fetts: Both the Fetts and the Mandalorians are really cool characters. I agree with you about the whole Boba getting beaten by a blind Han thing, they really did justice to his character in the books and comics.

@x_29: Starkiller is amazing, though to be honest I prefer the original one from the TFU1. I thought that was the better game storywise.

Probably one of the most complex and best written character in the entire Star Wars franchise. She's powerful, wise, intelligent, and Machiavellian. A villain who knows how to effectively manipulate and use power. She urges others to achieve their goals through hardship and struggle. Most importantly of all, she respects those who have the inner strength and will to turn away from the seduction of power. Plus she's got some amazing dialogue.

“Direct action is not always the best way. It is a far greater victory to make another see through your eyes than to close theirs forever.”

“A lightsaber—any weapon—only achieves worth in how it is wielded—in the effort, the struggle of one who holds it.”

“A culture’s teachings, and most importantly, the nature of its people, achieve definition in conflict. They find themselves… or they find themselves lacking.”

@KingofMadCows: Wow Kreia is a really good choice, forgot about her it's been a while since I've played that game.

luke.

#29 Posted by KingofMadCows (345 posts) - - Show Bio

@GodOfMischief: Well, they did kind of ruin her with various retcons. In fact, most of KotoR2 has been swept under the rug.

@KingofMadCows: It's a shame really, would of been cool if they made a book explaining more of her origins.

QFT Also I always felt that as far as the films go Kitt Fisto was never really appreciated I don't think.

#38 Posted by GodOfMischief (634 posts) - - Show Bio

@Swagger462: Kit Fisto was great. They did him some justice in The Clone Wars and the Revenge of the Sith novelization where he actually fought Palpatine for a much longer period.

I agree with Kit Fisto. He is my all time fav SW character.

also Bossk, I feel he is overlooked because of boba fett.

Also Fi from the republic commando series.

Grand Moff Tarkin. Peter Cushing is the man.

#43 Posted by Nathaniel_Christopher (1550 posts) - - Show Bio

You took my choice lol Kreia was easily the best character in Kotor 2. Not only was she mysterious and powerful, but she made you the player think about what she was saying and really consider every action you took.

#44 Posted by Suprman (442 posts) - - Show Bio

I would have to say the clone troopers, in particular the 501st Legion, that's my two cents.

#49 Posted by sohanlon07 (51 posts) - - Show Bio

The Hutts. Han Solo trilogy does a great job of exploring them but it would be great to see some stories about their race in particular, rise of their civilisation etc.

#50 Posted by ShootingNova (15219 posts) - - Show Bio

@KingofMadCows: Yeah, Kreia was quite a good character. But in terms of power, she isn't really overrated.

Darth Revan

No. Just no. The opposite of underrated, Darth Revan is.
