Which sword, from any continuity, is the most powerful?
Post a pic of your choice of sword if possible.

@jayc1324: Didn't the Celestial, who was impaled by that sword, simply remove it and completely dissolve it like nothing?
@ordinaryalan: Yes but the fact that it impaled a celestial is very impressive.
@strider92: yeah any sword that can pretty much one shot a primarch is OP.
@hislolita: Is it like a sword within a sword 0_0
STORMBRINGER....
a sword so powerful...it enslaves its master.
This Sword contains an ancient dragon which exudes the power from its blade while adding to its own power by consuming the souls of the people it slays.
It has taken down Deities before.
(its from Elric Saga by Michael Moorcock.)
(Ohh a good runner up is Damocles, who shouldn't fear a sword of deadly prophecy.)
@hislolita: Is it like a sword within a sword 0_0
Aye! Tis so powerful its own sheath can be wielded as a sword. Which would necessitate it having its own sheath. Which would also be a mighty sword in its own right. Ad infinitum et ultra, dude. Ad infinitum.
Or maybe we can just get one of these doohickeys:
@hislolita: I think you just won the thread there.

It wasn't so much that as the fact that the Anthame has a haxed ability of being able to kill absolutely anything including abstracts as long as you know said beings name. Its like the ultimate plot device. As long as you know the name of the person you want to kill 1-cut is thing. Telesto is also haxed given that it can do an aoe attack that erase everying caught in the blast from reality.
@strider92: Which book is Telesto used? Let me guess Daemon weapon? or sword used to fight daemons.

It was used in "Fear To Tread" Telesto was the Sword/Spear of Sanguinus. It has the ability to basically removed anything from reality in a giant aoe burst attack. It was for this reason that Horus didn't want to fight Sanguinus and sent that big-ass bloodthirster after him because after the ability has been used it has a cooldown and Horus didn't want to go against Sanguinus when he could potentially be 1-shotted despite having the Chaos Gods backing him.
A shard of Telesto was also used in "Deus Exsanguine" and gave a standard Space Marine lightspeed reactions.
@strider92: lo i forgot about that. I have that book i just must have missed the part where it had that ability.
@eisenfauste: Nope nevermind I was wrong it showed that ability in "Deus Sanguinus" and "Deus Encarmine" although that ability was still the reason Horus didn't want to initially face Sanguinus.
@strider92: Okay makes sense, I was like I don't recall his sword doing anything like that in the novel :P
Hmm can't choose. Its either Ascalon, Excalibur, Vorpal Sword, SoS. or the Master Sword. Somewhere in those categories.
