Minus Odin, and probably Thanos. Who is the most powerful hero or villain to appear thus far ?
Marvel Cinematic Universe
Concept » Marvel Cinematic Universe appears in 146 issues.
Marvel's superhero movie continuity that is shared between several major character franchises.
Most powerful Marvel Cinematic Universe character?
@RogueShadow: Marvel Cinematic Universe thanos has no feats right now but indeed will have some in the future so I'm not counting him. I think it would be Thor or Hulk but I don't remember all the characters from the marvel cinematic universe so i'm just guessing.

I know, that's why I put, 'probably', Thanos, I didn't want people claiming Thanos when he has no feats.
@marvelbeast: He's not part of the marvel cinematic universe.
These are all the movies in the marvel cinematic universe.
Iron Man
The Incredible Hulk(2008)
Iron Man 2
Captain America: The First Avenger
Thor
The Avengers
Confirmed additions to the marvel cinematic universe are:
Iron Man 3: The Dark World
Captain America: The Winter Soldier
Guardians of The Universe
Thor 2
Ant-Man
Unnamed Sequels to The Incredible Hulk and The Avengers.
everyone forgot Galactus?
he is probably the most Powerfull charater...he appeared in FF:Silver surfer
marvel cinematics movies re just the recent movies right. If we are talking about the recent movies then thor. If we count them all all the way back to 98 or 99... then SS or galactus

I would say Hulk. I mean, c'mon, he smashed that giant alien worm thing in one hit!
Galactus will vapourise it with a thought....
Odin or Thor
And quit with Galactus he isn't apart of the MCU, and Silver Surfer beat him so that automatically means Silver Surfer > Galactus.

But he's not part of the MCU so that doesn't count.

Doesn't He appeared in The Fantastic 4: Silver Surfer?
(I know FF is under FOX, but the content is Marvel)

Yes, but the MCU is only the recent Marvel Studios movies. It only includes Iron Man, Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America, and The Avengers.

Stan Lee. One swipe of his eraser and they are gone! =)
pfft, he couldn't even pass the gaurds in the Richards' wedding.
@RoyHarperBLOW: why you forget Blade >:( the only Marvel movie I would watch more than once. your list is barely half.
@Killer_of_trolls: Marvel Cinematic Universe is Earth 199999.
Fantastic Four Films are on Earth 121698
Blade films are on Earth 26320
X men fils are on Earth 10005
etc
Get it Marvel Cinematic Universe is a different reality than silver surfer and blade etc. This guy is talking about The marvel cinematic universe which is earth 199999 and it only features the films I listed.

I got it from the list, no need for excessive explanation. This is not a history test, lol.
thanks for the info, anyway. Too bad there won't be any hope for crossover between them then. But I suppose it's better this way for obvious reasons.
That is a misguiding name they gave that verse since they are all infact cinematic works of Marvel. If I noticed Cinematic and Universe were capitalized I would have suspected.
What did Odin do that was impressive?
A combination of assumption (as with Thanos) and the fact that he stripped Thor of his power and transported him to Midgard with dark energy. It remains to be seen how Loki defeated him. It was PIS that Odin didn't strip Loki of his powers to be honest.

Ah yeah, totally forgot about that lol.
This. I don't remember Odin ending the war with the Frost Giants or Dark Elves by striking his staff.
@royharperblow: You can also include the MCU Comic Tie-Ins that are canon to the MCU.
Implied Odin and Thanos
Shown: Ronan (Deceased)
Malekeith (With Ether) (deceased)
Thor, Hulk, and Iron man

no. Thanos is the strongest with or without feats. Just listen to what is said about him in the MCU movies. you know...Thanos is the most powerful.

Look at the date on that post. Also, he may have been speaking in hyperbole. Odin and Thanos are thus far the most powerful disregarding infinity stone users, I mean besides them.
@royharperblow: Iron Man 3: The Dark World?! Pretty sure that was Thor lol
