EDIT: YOU MAY NOW NOMINATE ANYWHERE BETWEEN 5-10 HEROS
Ok everyone, This is what I've wanted to do since I started making these lists, but this one is going to go a bit deeper than the others. We all see tons of "Who's more powerful" threads everyday, and they usually prove to be inconclusive and unsatisfying. The idea of this tournament is to find out, for once and for all, who the strongest characters in comics are. This isn't really a list, but a tournament, I will reveal hos it's going to work after this first step of the process.
Guidelines (READ)
- Hero's only are to be nominated.
- Comment below with the names of 10 heros you would like to nominate. DO NOT RANK THEM. Each nomination is worth 1 point.
- ***Heros should be no higher than TOP-TIER heros. No omnipotent (Spectre, Dr. Manhattan, etc.) or God-like characters allowed.***
- Including that caliber of character wouldn't be fun, and would be difficult to manage.
- All comics are good.
- All characters will be in their STANDARD FORM. (ex. Just Superman, not Sun-dipped Superman/Superman-Prime/Cyborg Superman/etc. I know that not all of those are the same character, but those are the rules. k.)
- Nominations should be based on who YOU think the most powerful heros out there are (other than omnipotent/Godly characters obviously).
How Phase 2 Will Work
I will take all the nominations, and compile them to a master list. Each nomination represents 1 point, and the characters on the list will be ranked by their points.The top 16 (most likely) will then be taken out of the list, and separated into a bracket. The characters will be seeded according to their point totals (top 4 point leaders will be 1-seeds, and so on.) Then, after the bracket is complete, I will post it to the Vine, followed by another post that contains a poll with the first match-up inside it. Then, you guys will vote on who you think will win the match-up, and after a while, the voting will close, and the winner will be announced, and advance in the bracket. That is how this tournament will work, and it will make more sense as we advance forward.
So now let's get to it. Have fun, and pick the strongest heros around.
