More Evidence Links to Real-Life Superpowers

Another website has come to our attention. "M-Underground" posted a clip that seems to be gathering information from recent news events, it looks as if they’re trying to say that super-powers or “mutants” might be a real thing. The site has a simple statement at the top:

Our goal is simple: to expose those who wish to create a rift between humans and the genetically gifted. We will not let our world be torn apart with misinformation. The only “mutant threat” is that which threatens mutants.

Sure, you’re all saying, “Yeah, right.” Check out this video codex compiling recent strange phenomenon. Hopefully it won't get taken down.

What intrigues me about this clip is it’s not pure fabrication. You can easily look up some of these events, which I actually did. There was a sinkhole in Siberia this past summer, there was a 5.8 earthquake in Washington D.C. in 2011 (in which the NY Post reported a geophysicist said it couldn't be traced to a specific fault). The seismologist, professors, etc here are real people. You can see Professor Kirk Lohmueller from UCLA is an actual professor there. Benjamin Alpers is a microbiologist at the State of Texas. Allison O’Neal is a research specialist at East Carolina University.

It almost feels like something out of an X-Men comic. But what would be the purpose?

Then there’s that footage of the soccer player from Bolivia. How does that fit in with the sinkhole, earthquake, and talk of gifted genetics?

We mentioned the Tandem Initiative on Friday(that website is HERE), and you can see it ghosted over the footage in places, and at the very front. They’re clearly doing research on the genetically gifted, but this underground group is suggesting they’re not in it for the right reasons…

Anyone have any thoughts or guesses as to what's going on?

I still think this is some marketing campaign for some sort of movie. That guy at the end was too over the top and when the soccer play got the ball with his head it just looked silly, like a low budget effect

Hey G-Man, I'm from Bolivia and never heard about a mutant soccer player or something like that. Would you mind sharing the footage you talk about?

How is any of this reliable proof of a mutant gene and a new species of Homo Superior? And I'm genuinely surprised you're reporting on the crackpot theories of one random professor Tony. I've heard not a single other scientist or academic official come out in support of this and random incidents don't make for a collective consistency in regards to 'mutants.'

Obviously marketing for a movie. I can't believe anyone would actually think this or that other 1 were legit. Homo sapiens superior. The x men are among us! lol

Possible geokinetics? Fascinating. And nice to know that guy at the end of the video will become Stryker, or some other Purifier.

Also just read the thing that @burningzerox posted, and damn, I really wanted it to be real.

Even without doing the research, that's what I was going to say (I've studied ARGs) but thanks to the sleuths for confirming.

Even in real life, I will still root for Magneto. I always saw him as more of an anti-hero (like Punisher) than an actual villain.

According to their website, the Tandem Initiative was started in 1971, and the fact that X-Men: DofP took place only two years after tells me this is some short of marketing scheme to either X-Men: Apocalypse or a second unannounced X-Movie. Possible one set in the new future timeline we saw at the end of DofP or even a new X-Men live-action TV show being made by Fox.

A TV show would make sense actually, seeing as both Marvel and DC are currently announcing their own shows featuring their characters, only makes sense that Fox would want to get in on that.

As well with like you said, this is sponsored by Fox who own the X-Men franchise and these super-humans are clearly referred to as "Mutants" in the video. Not to mention that Tandem's logo is literally an "X." xD

Honestly the last bit sounded like gibberish, but the rest shook me up

Just got to say this. I work with 3d graphics and effects. The clip with the soccer player and the ball hovering in front of his face is completely fake. Take a good look at the ball's shadow. It doesn't change size as the ball bounces. Just a perfect little oval the whole time.
