i have been thinking that some of the magic in comics could also be explaned as phycic or reality warping powers like the scarlet whitch
like teleporting and levitation is something that nightcrawler and jean grey could do and they are both mutants
typically most magic is performed by spell or incantation, calling on un-natural forces to manifest the outcome
