Marvel superheroes not on the avengers

I have trouble thinking of cool strong marvel heroes not on the avengers that are good enough to compete also

• Gamora
• Starlord
• Groot
• Drax

There are a lot of Mutants and Inhumans not on the Avengers.

O there is also Silver Surfer, Ghost Rider (all of them) and quite a bit of characters from Future Foundation not members.

@feartheliving: Ghost Rider was part of the Avengers Of the supernatural. So technically he was.

@avenging_x_bolt: Not really. The team was only what like one issue and it was for a television show for Mojo.

Deadpool used to be...now he's not. I think.

@avenging_x_bolt: Added scan. Mojo makes up the team on the spot of not actual Avengers. (Well aside from Dr Strange & Blade of course.)

@feartheliving: Hey man, I already agreed with you. No need for scans. (although technically that statement could just mean any person who was an Avenger before the formation of that existing team)

He's also blatantly ignoring the fact that Dr.Strange has been an Avenger for a while now :p

@v_scarlotte_rose: it just happened in issue 3 of Avengers X-Men Axis. I'm not 100 percent sure, just because it is Deadpool. But it looks like he just got adde to the Avenger's Rank out of necessity.

I hope he's not going to be a proper member though.

I was just thinking a few days ago that the day Deadpool and Punisher both join the Avengers, will be the last day I pick up a comic :p

All the X-Men except Wolverine, Beast, Storm, Rogue and Havok...

@humanrocket: I see what you mean now, after reading it. Could just be that he's considering himself and Avenger by fighting alongside them.

That would be a bad day for me too. They don't strike me as being appropriate members.

@v_scarlotte_rose: Yah glad you could see what I meant. I feel in his head he thinks he's an Avenger. But everyone doesn't believe so. Deadpools head is always a hard nut to crack.

Exactly. Like to this day I still can't get used to the fact that Wolverine was added to the team back in the New Avengers days. But, Logan did kinda pull back on the killing but not all the way.
