What do you mean?

  • More Powerful?
  • Boring?
  • Interesting?

Must be a mix up of terms because Bruce is indeed endearing. No,DC is not more endearing than Marvel.

@primepower53: @CitizenBane: I don't see this as a Marvel Vs DC thread at all. I know exactly what you mean cracker jack. I think it has something to do with the history of the characters, and let's face it, that's a loooot of history. I also think it's down to, and let's be honest here, the fact that a lot of DC's heroes, due to their being created so many decades ago, are kind of, well goofy. Even legendary characters like the Flash and Green Lantern are kind of goofy. Don't get me wrong, i love them both, but their powers and costumes are definitely those of a by gone age (and thank god because i don't know if the creators today would have the imagination to create something like the green lantern). I also think DC are more endearing because they ave played second fiddle to Marvels success for so long and we all love an underdog.

Having said all that, i don't necessarily like DC more than Marvel. I find it ebbs and flows. Some periods i love one, others it reverses. Interesting question though cracker jack and it's unfortunate others are so quick to dismiss it instead of really thinking about it.

Both companies are great and both have great characters, its all just a matter of personal prefrence as to who you like more or less.

Agreed, People argue so much over Marvel vs. DC when both companies aren't even in direct competition to drive the other out of business.
