Marvel is Becoming Overrated?

With honesty, marvel is becoming waay too overrated, the movies, the comics, the characters....everything about marvel is getting blown out of portion.

Have you seen The Winter Soldier?

"overrated" is the most overrated term in existence.

Just because something is overrated, doesn't mean its bad.

And if its not bad, they're no point in bitching about how good something is.

There are thousands of threads doing that on this site, getting quite tiresome honestly

They are slightly overrated but they are still very good. Most if their ongoings right now are great and their theatrical movies are good too.

Winter Soldier looks better than Avengers imo. Avengers is the only movie they have that I find to be grossly overrated. I liked all their movies minus Iron Man 3 and Spider-Man 3 (Is there...a pattern?!).

Only in Movies. Everywhere else no.

@farkam: Nova Annihilation this is where he really takes off and becomes an A list hero. From there on you can move on to Nova Vol 4. I would suggest getting the entire Annihilation story arc...one of the best events that Marvel did that isn't really that well known. Depends on your taste. I find some Marvel stuff "overrated", (but that is merely my opinion, and does not mean the stuff is actually overrated.) I find some Marvel stuff underrated. I find some Marvel stuff rated "as it should be." Ya know, I can say the exact same thing about DC.

Well they are overrated for a reason, people like them, the maintain a steady cash flow, and have a large fan base. If they have all three then they deserve it.

It's a matter of opinion but I will say your opinion is wrong. Marvel is not overrated.

@feartheliving: I did the same for DC last year, on youtube; when i see something i say it, nothing more. This year in general marvel is becoming like the next justin bieber, the fanbase makes them this perfect company. I remember claims being made that marvel would beat DC in a fight, and then another claim in opposition claiming DC is OP and boring, its stuff like that.

I'd say its still under rated, when they win an Oscar for best film then I'd say that they are on par

I knew someone would mention him. I dont think he's good, but someone must. A large group of someones in order for him to have that cash flow. People are buying his stuff. They just have a different definition of good. It seems the word over rated is just another way to describe something not understood by one person but liked by many others....
