Marve/Justice league General Question

We all know that in terms of Power most DC characters are super OP especially compared to Marvel characters. But what x-men/avengers/FF4 characters (who are not omega level)could better the Justice league and fight the Enemies they do (Braniac, Darkseid, Mongul, Doomsday etc) without weakening the team? Who can go into a fight with Superman, GL, Martian Manhunter and still be a huge asset?
