Man of Steel Sequel Likely Called "Batman Vs. Superman"
Lol, Superman fans are going to go crazy over this.
It'd be the same with Batman fans if they did vice versa. There's not going to be any winning with this film's title
If they know what's good for them, they'll call it Worlds Finest. Why would they not call it that?
Or Man of Steel 2: Worlds Finest.
Worlds and Finest need to be in there somewhere.

I really meant both fanbases are going to go crazy.
@wolverine08: Combine this with the multiple quotations from Dark Knight Returns, I think S-Man fans might have some reason to worry. Whatever happens I can't imagine it'll be disrespectful. But I think it's safe to say that Batman will be a force of nature in this film.

I can't wait!
Man of Steel 2 Batman of Steel: Superman Meets his Batgod and Eats Dirt
BS.
This is stupid on many levels. You just added some much needed creditilbity to Superman in film and now you are going to take all of that away by making him fight Batman. If they make this the Dark Knight Returns it will be one of the biggest mistakes you could make to keep a Superman franchise alive.
Why are people overreacting to the TDKR quote? Snyder specifically stated nothing will be adapted from that comic. Anyways, it should be fun to see Superman fanboys and Batman fanboys argue for the next two years.
They should call it "The World's Finest."
This.

@br_havoc: I think WB was mostly happy about MoS's performance, but I think they were a little disappointed that it didn't maintain its box office dominance for a longer duration. While sequels generally perform better, I think they're pulling out all the stops with adding Batman. This is less about rebooting Batman and more about ensuring MoS2 does well. Batman’s their moneymaker so that's why he's in it.

So let me get the straight DC wants to have movieverse that can rival Marvels so to do that they are going to deface Superman to do it? There movieverse is going to be killed off with this movie and it serves them right for picking to base this Superman movie after an overrated Batman story.
The fight will look like this. Both guys will get their blows in, but stronger guy (Superman) will have an edge. But overall, there will be no winner, and they'll probably be interrupted.
You know in Batman's defense..When I saw Man of Steel and saw how they were treating Superman my first thought was either two men were going to take most notice to Superman and how they might deem him as a "threat." Either A.)Lex Luthor or B.)Batman..Both have thought of Superman as a threat to humanity before..Batman however has been more of a "I'll plan how to deal with you if you ever go out of control"type bit
@wolverine08: Batman is not Iron Man.
@wolverine08: Batman is not Iron Man.
In this context, yes. Batman is Iron Man, the weaker guy. Thor is Superman, the stronger guy. The weaker guy (Batman?Iron Man) will get a few licks in, but the stronger guy (Superman/Thor) will be shown to have an edge, but overall, their will be no winner, and the fight will probably be interrupted by a villain.
@sandman_: IKR, Iron Man isn't in his "League."
@reignmaker: Man of Steal out performed Batman Begins and lets face it the only reason Batman became this huge figure in movies is because Heath Ledger died if he was still alive when the Dark Knight came out it still would of been a big movie but it would not of been this almighty picture. Adding Batman to a Man of Steal movie is just DC is giving up on their flagship character and making this a VS movie is idiotic. The DC universe should be centered on and built around Superman not have Batman over shadow him and beat him because he prepared for this fight for months. Once again I will say this will kill the Superman franchise.
@wolverine08: Batman is not Iron Man.
Right, Batman = Hawkeye. Its like Hawkeye and Thor trading blows.

@wolverine08: Batman would be Captain America.

The gap between Iron Man and Thor isnt that huge. Iron Man would be like Aquaman in the DC. I have no issue with Aquaman punching Supes a few times (Supes having the advantage the whole time), Batman is just a normal human being.
To put it simply, every blow Batman lands should hurt himself more than Supes. Like, he should break his arm and say, "That was a bad idea."
@wolverine08: Ooh, I just learned a new word.

I hope they do not go that route if they do what do they accomplish? Stealing Lex out of a move to have Batman in it? If DC wants to have a good movieverse you do not back a full movie over a stupid fan boy question of "who would win in fight Superman or Batman".
Right, Batman = Hawkeye. Its like Hawkeye and Thor trading blows.

If you think Batman would have even a snowballs chance in hell against Iron Man, youre insane.

Dont even bother, to this guy batman is the most pathetically weak character in dc, such is his bias that he probably thinks ted kord has a better chance at beating superman
With that said, this is a stupid move from wb that makes no sense, all theyll accomplish is to ruin the superman franchise

The gap between Thor and Iron Man is huge. Iron Man is only a 100 tonner, while Thor has been described as having "unlimited" strength and has dominated Iron Man in the comics before. But Marvel was able to craft a well written fight that pleased both Iron Man and Thor fans. Just like WB will do with a Superman vs Batman fight.

He was never credible. He's just a Batman hater who obsessively complains about him in forums.

Not really because if it was like that then there would be no point to having Lex in the comics anyways if Batman's just going to have that plan. Batman doesn't hold a grudge against Superman..he just preps for Supes if he ever crosses the line whereas Lex on the other hand just deems him a threat no matter what. Superman and Batman are actually friends in the comics

There just going to say batman can beat anyone if he prepares. Such a stupid idea.
@wolverine08: Iron Man helped Hulk handle 100 Billion Tons in Secret Wars. Iron Man made suits to fight both Hulk and Thor. Iron Man is by no means Thors equal, but he is a lot closer than Batman is to Superman.
