Magneto FTL reactions?

Fairly self-explanatory, but for those who may not get it, does Magneto really have FTL reactions? I ask because I have seen it mentioned several times, I always assumed his powers worked at FTL speeds, but some claim he can for instance catch a FTL punch.

IIRC he wasn't able to react fast enough to avoid receiving a mach 5 punch from Quicksilver.

Feats like those are simply bad writing. Magneto still has the physicals and thought process of a normal human. (Maybe peak.) There are plenty of instances out there where street levelers perform feats like outracing a telephone call or blocking beams of light. It's just bad writing or the writer simply trying to over glorify the character.

Reminds me of people crying foul over Goku having FTL reactions - except that Goku does have FTL reactions and in this instance Magneto clearly lacks them.

Magneto has no FTL reactions. Anything to the contrary is PIS.

If he does have light speed reactions, it's based on his powers over magnetism and not actual vision, since it'd be physically impossible to react before your eyes see what's coming. Unless you sense it without your eyes.
