Hm. Am I the only one who doesn't get the notifications from the tag?
No me too, also my vote goes to White Walkers much creepier IMO

I am also not getting the notifications.
I suppose I'll vote for the White Walkers, but I dislike how corpsy they look in the show. In the books they are suppose to be eerily beautiful, like ice.
Hm. Am I the only one who doesn't get the notifications from the tag?
No, it happens to me to.
White Walkers. Though as people have said, the more Sidhe like book versions are cooler. But then the Night's King looked vastly different, so that suggests a good degree of diversity is present between them, maybe we've just been seeing incredibly ugly ones. That being said, the show ones are still badass.
GOT is getting a point. Lets head to another one.
Breaking of the Fellowship vs the Red Wedding.

The Red Wedding, easily, Unless Boromir's death falls within the breaking of the fellowship, then it'd be closer, but I'd still go with the the Red Wedding.
Red wedding: rob and kate, plus the child named after sean bean.
Fellowship: Gandalf standoff and Boromir's death.
Hm. Dat Shock vs epic. How to choose?
Probably latter, specially if all deaths are involved.
@rogueshadow: @eyedcyou: did you guys count gandalf as well?
@princearagorn1: It happened so much earlier that I didn't count it.
Red Wedding is more shocking, but Breaking the Fellowship had more depth and variety of feeling for me.
Fellowship wins in a tough call.
@rogueshadow: It actually involve Gandalf's and Boromir's Death.
I was going to vote for the Red Wedding, but since Penderor said it includes Gandalf and Boromir's deaths then the breaking of the Fellowship wins hands down.
Gandalf vs the Balrog was the greatest event in the movies. So spectacular and impactful. It's hard to describe how that scene made me feel, because it was such an odd combination of awe and sorrow. Probably one of the few moments where seeing the movies first was the better choice. Loved the books, but it's hard to top those visuals and Ian McKellen's commanding voice.
Conversely Boromir's death was more impactful in the book for me. Probably because I spent more time with him and really got to understand his motivations in the book, but not so much from the movie.
Either way, breaking of the Fellowship tops the Red Wedding. I'll take epic combat and heart breaking loss over shock value any day.
@metaljimmor: I did not ment like their final fights. More like their death moments and the fact that they are gone.
I know. I wasn't taking Gandalf's full fight with the Balrog into the equation, just the moment he faces the Balrog to let the others flee and his "dying" words. "Fly you fools!"
Gandalf sacrificed himself to save the Fellowship. In that moment he showed his true power, and it was epic. After he died it left a weird mixture of excitement for having seen such a display and sorrow for having lost him. He was my favorite character before that scene, so I felt his loss especially hard.
@metaljimmor: True.
@metaljimmor: I agree, first time I saw that I was like "oh crap they killed Gandalf!" lol the movies got me into the books more.
Then when he came back uber powerful I was like damn...lol
So yeah Breaking the Fellowship for my vote easily!
In a tought fight, Fellowship gets it. And going to another.
Tywin Lannister vs Theoden Eorl
Who is better golden hair ruler?

@jedixman This one is for you :*
Tywin. No contest.
Really depends for me.
I'd pick Tywin as a political leader. He's a spectacular schemer, and is ruthless enough to get the job done.
In warfare I'd go with Theoden. Warrior king. Didn't get tactically outsmarted by a teenager. Epic speech.
I suppose I'll go with Tywin simply because he wasn't turned into a brainless thrall and endanger his kingdom.
