Wrote a lot of stuff I kind of hated...

While his Aquaman run had some great moments I always hated that he gimped AQ and took his hand off. He made Dolphin a cheating b*tch and Mera a heartless, vengeful, crazy manipulator. I HATED his take on Captain Marvell (that Marvel run), the whole trading places with Rick Jones crap. And it's hard to believe that DC let him have his way with writing a non Kryptonian Supergirl for so damn long! Man that series was horrible in my view. Did you guys love or hate his stuff? Just curious.

I Looooooooove Peter David. He was my favorite writer in the 90's. He was the man who figured out that Bruce Banner is more interesting than the Hulk, and made a nobody character like Madrox into one of the most loved Marvel heroes...... I can't wait for his new X-Factor.

I generally like his 90's run on Aquaman. I know a lot of people hate it because of said limb, but the stories were generally interesting.

Besides he never woulda got his waterhand :P

Peter David wrote this.

If this doesn't cause you to tear up a little then you don't have a soul.

His work on Hulk, Spider-Man, X-Men/X-Factor are all amazing, and he rightly deserve to be considered one of the greatest writers in comic book history.

For me his out of the box thinking and commitment to his characters make him one of the best this industry has to offer. As for his Aquaman, the guy has written the best this character has seen in half a century.

  • Aquaman time and tide
  • Aquaman Chronicles of Atlantis (haven't read it but i hear it is excellent)
  • The Triton Saga

I guess you don't like him and you don't have to but whatever he writes it becames a hit for a reason.
