Nigh only is a term that these beings are almost all powerful but doesn't meet the requirements to a true omnipotent like that guy from shaman kings is a huge misconception or like others but the highest on the list is The Living Tribunal Nigh-Omnipotent/Omniscient but fully Omnipresent.

There is only one God. Being omnipotent means you're stronger than everything in existence infinitely many times. If TOAA and Beyonder are equals AND omnipotent, then they're either the same person or neither of them are omnipotent.

Also, Pre retcon Beyonder is only a character made up in your head. If Marvel says Beyonder is a mutant, then he's a mutant. Can't argue with a company that made the freaking character no matter how much you argue and cry.

The difficulty with the term "nigh omnipotent" to me is that it's a fan-made term (which is fine) but because of that there's no hard-line definition. Everyone has their own slightly different way of looking at it. So how far down in power can you go before you're no longer nigh-omnipotent? For instance is Shaper of Worlds nigh-omnipotent? He can do anything he wants...but only within a 2.5 mile radius (or something like that). Or, as Kubik has pointed out, all the sentient cubes are below creatures such as the Celestials. If there's a clear power gap, then they must be pretty measurably non-omnipotent. And yet, they can do pretty much anything...up to a point. So do they fit in the low end definition of nigh-omnipotent? Or are they too low? Let's say they are too low, then who is the officially least-omnipotent of the nigh-omnipotents? You can see how this gets logically problematic. How about folks like Odin, who are called "omnipotent" numerous times in the comics and yet clearly aren't?

Anyway, I think it's a cool idea to try to compile a list. It's just automatically going to be arguable about who's going to be in it.

It's not everyday Xenogears and or Xenosaga get brought up here but I definitely appreciate it. The games and lore are fascinating and complex. As such there's a lot of misunderstanding about them.

Xenosaga was a reimagining of ideas of what was planned in the earlier episodes of what would have been the Xenogears Saga. By this intent U-DO is essentially a reinterpretation of The Wave Existence. Under this shared Xenoverse, Xenosaga takes place before Xenogears, discrepancies in the history would even be explained by it being an alternate reality (an idea extensively toyed with via Xenogear's phenomenon concept). The idea that it's just different sides of the same being is actually interesting and the only thing that makes sense (which I'm glad you covered with your statement following "or"), not only in that they're both the Supreme Being but when you really dissect the games. I have seen the blog a user made (which unfortunately dictates over the omniversal battlefield wiki) and the arguments in support of U-DO somehow actually being delegated as above WE are faulty.

Truth of the matter is, they never were nor could be officially connected for legal reasons. And the creator has even said Xenosaga is a spiritual successor. They share a lot in common, doesn't hurt that it's ideas coming from the same mind. Which is why you have things like U-DO's avatar looking identical to Fei (which actually only strengthens the parallels).

As for Fei, I see him as essentially like Michael Demiurgos. Or maybe more accurately Elaine (after she was given her father's powers) in that, like her, Fei doesn't fully understand them. He's a human who was given infinite power, which is why it tends to manifest from that mindset, hence the use of Xenogears (which he likes to use as a proxy for his power) since Gears are something he knows.
