i dont like his oversaturation , and his current solo book .and his two movies (given i havent seen the 2nd one but fool me once...)
love everything else lol
@black_lantern_mar_vell: Weapon X gave him the name Logan.
I like Wolverine because he called Apocalypse a pile of dog puke on X-Men TAS hahaha
@black_lantern_mar_vell: His biological father. Whom he didn't know was his father.
@wolverine08: Didn't he get Logan from his father. Dogs dad?
This scene from Schism just came to mind so I had to post it: Despite Wolverine's monster history, he has become a loving father figure to many students at the school.
1. That was a beautiful scene
2. See now that's what I was talking about with the costume! He looks ridiculous just walkin around the house in it lol
@sog7dc: yeah it is a beautiful scene! :) haha yah...who the heck wears that stuff at home?
That scene was just heartwarming, but @sog7dc is right about Logan looking ridiculous walking around the house with his costume.
@batmannflash: Give him a flannel a Tshirt and some jeans and that works right?
@sog7dc: yeah t-shirt and jeans works. And hey, Batman has some many signs of intense anger. That's what's so cool about Wolverine, his anger
Which Wolverine we talking about here?
Too many cooks and too many years of outrageous popularity has created a myriad of versions of the character.

It's all one version. I'm not going to argue with you about it either. I've seen you on CV for years now still posting the same ol' crap. In fact you know what the great thing about comic books is? You get to take what you want and count it. As in not everything written about Wolverine in every comic matters nor does it all need to line up in a perfect little row for you. Go post about spidey or tvtropes....
@batmannflash: Yeah but what I mean is that his moments of anger should be a rare treat. It should take alot to make him angry. Like when clayface talked about his dead son and he went off. That's how I think Logan should be written

If everyone gets to take what they want and count it, then it's important to consider what they're "counting", isn't it? Why does my pointing out that there are a number of different takes on the character get you all heated up, exactly?
@sog7dc: well, Wolverine's an anti-hero. he's not supposed to be as controlled as Batman
Because I can actually remember you making the exact same post a long time ago at least two times previously when I was on the site more often. I mean did you copy it from one of those previous posts or what? Funny that after all this time it's just the same ol' same ol'.
I don't feel you understand the character (evidenced by your post) nor do you truly want to understand the character. Like I said it's all one version. What you pointed out were not different takes but actually just parts of a whole. It sure seems like you are someone that just likes to take the opportunity to degrade a character you don't care for. Basically, I don't understand why you post about Wolverine at all. You don't see me posting about Jason Todd for instance because I don't care about the character in the slightest.

Wolverine is all those things in one.

I don't see how it's any less true now than previously, or at least, any less of a defensible opinion. That I posted something similar before and you remember it hardly invalidates my perspective, it just shows we both spend too much time on CV. Additionally, I don't see how my recognizing that Wolverine has unique challenges in his portrayal is an indication that I somehow don't like the character.
If you disagree with my perspective, sure, we can discuss that—and it doesn't have to be an argument either. But if the issue is that I posted something similar—and I quote—"a long time ago", then that's something you'll have to deal with. But I'm not attacking the character. There are simply some takes on Wolverine I prefer over others.
I used to really like Wolverine, but I hate how his popularity has altered his character. The Wolverine I remember would never lead a school of children or play peacekeeper in an Avengers/X-Men war. They've just replaced Cyclops with him. I don't like how people call every X-Men book 'Wolverine and the X-Men' as some kind of insult, but I dislike even more that it's true.
what are a few wolverine stories with great art? I already know about Old man Logan but Ive seen a few awesome pictures of wolverine lately and id like to read those stories....any suggestions? (im talking to you @wolverine08)
