This episode had way too much build up. Bolin and Varric had too much time to be spotlighted on situations that would be obvious to any other character. I know these guys are silly but they aren't supposed to be so dense that Kuvira needs to literally threaten them just to wake them up to the "hard truths." It felt very patronizing to watch the writers spoonfeed us on how power hungry Kuvira is becoming.
I'd like to see the story get darker and maybe kill of one of the characters (like one of Suyin's twins) to show us that this war will have consequences and that not all conflicts can be stopped with two fight scenes.
