Last comic you read that gave you a nerdgasm?

That giddy feeling that makes you want to explode with a cry of joy. We all know it. When was the last time you felt it?

For me, the most recent feeling was Detective Comics 37. The art, the (what I like to call) Bat-moments, the new Villain. It all just made me downright giddy.

Martha Washington in the war scene of 'Give me Liberty or Give me Death" where war changed her into a strong woman.

Rocket Raccoon #6, when Cosmo showed up.

JLA vol 2 I read last week gave me a nerdgasm.

The defeat of the JL gave me a nerdgasm too xD

That one comic where Superman gets curbstomped by Krillin and Yamcha.

Grayson: Futures End, the ending when it goes "this ain't finished" and you see the rope starting to catch on fire.

Injustice and Superman Red Son are the first to come to mind. Note that I read Red Son just like a year or so ago, not when it was actually published.

@freefa11: hmmm can't say i've ever had one, been satisfied a few times but that only happens when a book goes above & beyond what I expected it to.

I get a nerdgasm once a month reading Low. I love the art and the plot line is great. It's a unique book and a ton of fun to read. Also Walt Simonson's Ragnarok keeps me enthralled with each issue. I eagerly await each new issue.

Hmm I think it was probably Superman Unchained 8 for its awesome setpiece or The Ballad of Beta Ray Bill for its epic storytelling and creation of a worthwhile new character to the Thor mythos.
