How did you get your start?

@Superguy0009e: I haven't watched Kamen rider in a long time but I love the show.! It's a much better version of PR.

Used to watch it. Haven't seen one since Ryuki.

@comicace3: I admit, I really like that KR is more mature and deals with more adult situations.

But PR came first in my life and I think that there have been times that it has been done incredibly right.

Personally, I would love to see a PR movie done in the same manner as the new and old star trek movies.

Best of the live-action Japanese superhero shows, definitely.

I used to watch a few seasons, but I stopped after Kabuto. Ever since Den-O started, the series seems to be going for a more 'optimistic-changing forms' thing that feels very different from the earlier series. One of my favorite things about KR was that for a largely children's program, it wasn't afraid to cover deeper themes and its characters were often flawed and conflicted. But the newer seasons seem to have neglected this.

Best season, IMO, was Faiz. Aside from the cool phone gimmicks and fantastic suit designs, the conflicts between the humans and the monsters went into territory that was pretty impressive for a live-action superhero show. Sure, some of the stuff is a little heavy-handed, but it's not bad either.

Liked Dragon Knight. Haven't watched them in japanese due to not liking Subs
