Justice League Unlimited or Young Justice? What show is better in you opinion?

I like Young Justice but JL/JLU is a much better show imo.

JLU is much more of a classic superhero TV show. I enjoy Young Justice but JLU is much better.

JLU in my book. Young Justice is pretty overrated imo. The first season was great, but the second season was pretty meh.

Justice league and JLU are pretty much the perfect superhero shows. So that's what I'm voting for.

JLU is what I voted for but I still love Young Justice with all my heart.

The animation style was perfect.

YJ each character had their own design. the 1st season led into the 2nd season. YJ also brought other character to the light. Its plot was far beyond JLU

Young Justice. Better character portrayals, more interesting plot lines, and not a boring episode in the entire series. I love JLU, but Young Justice wins easily in my book.

Man this is tough. I'd go with JLU because the voice actors were perfect, and just loved the experience more. But I got to say Young Justice was amazing with great story progression. If I can vote tie I would, but JLU wins for the simple fact it had a longer run.

JLU was the DC Animated Universe at its peak and presented one of the best interpretations of DC Comics' characters ever. Balancing the bigger name heroes with lesser known heroes in fully fleshed out, well written arcs. Young Justice can't come close to that.

Cadmus Story-arc? Better voice actors, longer run, brilliant story lines. No way is that an easy win for YJ.

@ganon15: It is in my opinion. I really do love JLU. But I also feel that it had it's fair share of underwhelming episodes. There were also plenty of absolutely amazing episodes (the Cadmus story arc included). But Young Justice, also in my opinion, did not have a single bad episode. Both shows had brilliant story arcs throughout their runs. I prefer Young Justice animation. And I think that the voice acting is pretty neck-and-neck. JLU had some really iconic voices for it's main characters. But I also really love the voice cast for Young Justice. I think that it managed to find good voice actors for every character in the show, regardless of how important or unimportant they were to the plot. I wouldn't go as far as to say that it is better than JLU's voice acting. But i think it is pretty darn close to call.

And the series Finale was EPIC. Return of Darkseid, Darkseid with Brainiac's power, Lex and Batman working together, Batman dodging the Omega beams, Superman cut loose, the whole Superman vs. Darkseid fight. YJ didn't even come close to that.

Oh man, that was so cool to see heroes and villains teaming up to kick an alien invasion's ass. Superman's speech before he cuts loose is one of my favourite things ever.

Seriously that episode was better than the whole Avengers movie, and the Superman speech was epic. I really miss the DCAU, hope we can see something similar in the DC movies.

I wouldn't say that but it was certainly very enjoyable. The DCAU was easily one of the best interpretations of the comics in other media but the reason why you think it's more enjoyable than the Avengers is that cartoons can be more faithful to the source material than movies can.

Maybe that's the reason but the episode is still fresh in my mind, I can only say that for a couple of CBMs.

The first season of JLU is arguably the best season of any superhero show ever. They also stuck with continuity that was layed out some 5+ years earlier which was never done before I don't think.

Young Justice is right behind quality wise. That show had globs of potential which was cut short because toys didn't sell.

Justice League Unlimited is far better than Young Justice, while Justice League is in the same ballpark (although I'd say it was better).

Damn right JL/U was way better than YJ! What were those fools thinking they can replicate the great DCAU??! Why I never.

@ganon15: I'm kind of hoping they try to make another big interconnected cartoon universe with Beware the Batman as the starting point.

Since the DCAU ended it's been all Batman and Teen Titans.

And that one show about Krypto.

But Bruce Timm and Paul Dini along with Andrea Romano need to be working in it or else it won't be epic.

@ganon15: Well Beware the Batman so far seems to be excellent so I have faith that if DC plans on making a shared animated universe that we'll get something good.

Or we could get another Young Justice where everything starts sucking by the second season.

Andrea Romano is a voice directing GODDESS!! You can't have top tier superhero cartoon like the DCAU without her.
