and It is an Amazing series. 5/5 for every volumes. I just couldn't stop reading after I started Volume 1 just like Walking Dead. Every Characters had meaning and were interesting. This is one of the best series I've ever read. I would recommened everyone to read this series if you love comics, and even if you are not into comics. It's very addictive, I'll seriously miss reading this book. I hope they make a TV show out of this book. It would fit very well.

Now that I'm Done with this amazing Series YtLM, can you guys recommend to me any other GOOD Books like the Y?

I only read super hero books, but this is one of the only non caped comics that kinda makes me want to read it. Chuck from the tv show Chuck was a big fan of the series. Everyone seems to agree it's amazing

I thought it was a great series also. Loved it throughout. As for other great series, have you read Sandman? (You probably have, but if you haven't - read it!) :D

I really, really wish AMC would pick this up for a live action series.

I just finished vol. 5. Waiting to get vol. 6 and 7 now. It's quite good.

I'd recommend reading the Sandman.

Just think of the small differences they could do on a tv version of Y the Last Man like Walking Dead. As long as there is a monkey, amazons, and Yorick I will be hooked.

There was a TV adaptation of YLM several years ago, and it was horrible. It focused mainly on women versus surviving men, and it was pretty danged blah-tastic.

I loved Y too! Since I got back into comics, it remains the standard to which i hold other series too...

I'm in middle of Ex Machina also by Vaughan, haven't seen how it ends, but so far slightly below Y, which is good! I've heard Saga is excellent too (only one TPB out so far).

By other authors, I'd recommend: Jimmy Corrigan: Smartest boy in the world. Superman: Red Son by Millar. Marvel 1602 by Gaiman.

To a lesser degree, Irredeemable by Waid. I liked it a lot, especially the end, but there are a lot of middle issues you could throw out.

@danhimself: It bore little resemblance to the comic, but it was definitely based on the comic. I tried to find a snippet on youtube, but the search keeps bringing up Bruce Willis in Last Man Standing. I think it was a SyFy project, several years ago.
