Joss Whedon still up for a DC Superhero FIlm

Joss Whedon has shown that he is still up for directing a DC Superhero film. I know a few people especially a Superman fan on CV who shall not be named who likes Snyder but rather him just do Justice League and not Superman Films. Some say he'd be perfect for wonder Woman of The Reboot Green Lantern. Even if the film has a director who can still go ahead and say Joss would be better suited or you like him more for the job.

What DC Franchise or Character would you want Joss to be the boss over?

Would Marvel let him?

Pretty sure he isn't under their contract after AoU, so he can do whatever he wants.

I read that he wanted to direct a Star Wars movie, so it seems he's content with staying under the Disney tree. I'm not sure how his contract works, though.

Either the justice league films or green lantern if they don't have a director already

People are forgetting that he wrote a WW script and it sucked. Keep him and his one liner filled writing away from my DC.

He would work with a Flash movie. Maybe Nightwing or TT.

He said he wanted to do Batman. I heard his ideas for his Batman, he was gonna make Batman way too sappy.

Batfleck will do Batman, that much is for sure. Which is good, he's not as trained as Snyder when it comes to super powers. Street Level is fine for him and he's good at directing movies that he's in

Most likely the dudes who are writing it will also direct it. (Lego Movie/22 Jump street)

I think he should do GL since he is great with the team element and science fiction. I would rather see him do original stuff before doing a starwars or a DC film.

I was confused by what you were saying cus I thought you may have been talking about me cus I lost my s**t when SNyder was announced to direct JL. That man is gonna do more with one movie action wise than what Marvel did with all of their movies combined. So hyped

I've seen Superguy say he's ok with Snyder doing JL but doesn't like him for the Superman Franchise.

As far as I know, he doesn't like SNyder, period. I equally don't want Whedon anywhere near Superman. Especially after all the set up Goyer and Snyder did, only for it to be destroyed by average story telling and one liners, ugh!

I'm a huge fan of those guys from way back when they did Clone High and love their recent stuff too. My only problem is that they haven't done comedy I'd wanna see in a CBM. It be a bit much even for Marvel. But we shall see, I hope for the best

Based god Whedon is the creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer -- the greatest show ever made. DC fans should be ecstatic at the possibility of Joss directing a film.

He's incompatible with the DC formula, maybe he could do Shazam or something.

Also, Buffy and Angel are sh*t.

@black_arrow: Flash already has a great director team, probably the best of the DCCU so far.

I think Snyder is more than an okay fit for JL, I think Snyder is perfect since he's a great visual director, but story telling isn't his strength.

Snyder is also really good at an ensemble, since he's yet to create a movie that doesn't have one.

My dream Superman director is Brad Bird of The Incredibles, Iron Giant and soon to be Tomorrowland.

I think Whedon works well for GL.

and realize that there are some difference between DC and Marvel, if he could do a movie which is the same tone as DC why not....I heard that he was interested in doing a Female lead movie like Batgirl or Supergirl....JLA hell no he will ruin it....Zack Snyder is the perfect guy for JLA plus Wheadon will not direct another team up movie in long time because AoU took a great toll on him, he would have died...Maybe GL movie

Only one of the more fringe characters/teams. I havent loved his style in the Marvelverse, and I have incredibly high hopes for the DCverse since MoS. Somebody said Supergirl and I feel that.

Lol at DC fans saying they don´t want humour and one liners, they probablly have never read Astonishing X-Men, when he wants to be serious, he can be serious and do it extremely well. The reason he uses humour in The Avengers is because that´s the tone the MCU has established.
