'Jessica Jones' Showrunner Confirms Rosario Dawson Will Appear on the Show

Jessica Jones will be coming to Netflix towards the end of 2015, and it's following up one fantastic first season of Daredevil. Showrunner of Jessica Jones, Melissa Rosenberg, talked to ET about the upcoming first season and revealed that Rosario Dawson, who plays Claire Temple on Daredevil, will be a part of the newest Netflix series.

“I think I'm allowed to say: Rosario Dawson will be dropping in"

Towards the end of the first season for Daredevil, Claire became the love interest/personal doctor for Matt Murdock as he beat up bad guy after bad guy in Hell's Kitchen.

Back in May, Dawson signed a new deal with Marvel that would have her coming back to season two of Daredevil, but it would also allow her to appear in other Marvel properties. Our guess was that it was going to be in mainly the television show properties, and it looks like that's probably where we'll see this character the most.

Good, I was hoping Night Nurse would make cross-show appearances.

Now if only we can get her in all the other Marvel movies

Why did this need to be confirmed? I'm pretty sure we all knew she would be returning and this was confirmed long before he even confirmed it lol...

@docholiday: I saw a rumor the other day that said that she might have a part to play in the Doctor Strange movie.

The Night Nurse is a good character to transition between the shows until they get to The Defenders. And Dawson did a great job in DD so this is great.

This didn't need any confirmation really but hey, it's cool to have her on all shows!

Pretty good news, I liked her character on Daredevil. Also, she is SSSSMOKING!

I think if anyone from the Netflix side of things is ready to transition into the movie side of things, it would be Night Nurse. I really hope she shows up in Dr. Strange, that would be great.

Considering she is playing the Night Nurse role it makes sense to have her appear across the Netflix shows. I have always been holding out hope that when Defenders airs, Doctor Strange will make an appearance. Then they could have those two take interest in one another and she appear in Doctor Strange 2 if there is one.

Very cool, it would be nice to see them make more of an effort of blending these shows/movies to show it's one universe. They've been doing a little better with Ant-Man and Daredevil "If he had a magic hammer or an iron suit I could understand..." but the movies tend to be a bit more blunt where they could hide little things in them now and then.

More Rosario is always good. The character was really cool as well :)

I want Brett Mahoney to keep popping up in the Netflix shows too.

I remember the Claire Temple character from way back from the original Power Man run of the 1970s.

The character was a black nurse who was Luke Cage's girlfriend. They could not find a black actress for the role?
