Stephen Wacker (Marvel Editor) now controls animation while Loeb looks over the TV department. Now there's a chance Marvel cartoons could be good!
Jeph Loeb is No Longer the Head of Marvel Animation
It doesn't matters all the shows have been given a second season
Plus Loeb wasn't the problem. Disney's control over the property is. They want it to be chield-friendly, so no matter who the head of animation is, the result will be the same.

Pretty much. Loeb is just another brick in the wall.
Interviews with various writers and creators behind those shows have actually stated that they would like to write more serious, character driven stories...but they fear it might be too boring for kids so they are forced to write kid friendly stuff.
Why would anyone think Loeb is some kind of mastermind behind "kiddifying" those shows?? Aren't some his works like Ultimates 3 and the Long Halloween kind of dark and violent??

That's terrible logic, writing only becomes boring when it's not able to go anywhere or ideas are just thrown together without thinking. It has nothing to do with shows being serious or having character driven arcs.
Of course all of this is rather subjective, but throwing seriousness into shows doesn't make them boring.

Thanks for the unwarranted insult....
Well, the shows aren't really boring. Apparently, kids love them and there is always stuff happening. Older fans don't like them because they lack depth between the characters and stories. They are silly and light hearted. The writers have stated in a Toonzone interview they would like to utilize more stories from the comics and story arcs that are more serious in tone but the Disney execs want them to pander to kids with absolutely no critical thinking.
@cattlebattle: I wasn't insulting?...Was just saying, that just cause something is serious or character driven, doesn't mean it can't be entertaining.

You said my logic was terrible *cries*
I never really stated otherwise
@cattlebattle: Oh the terrible logic bit was for the writers not you lol, sorry.
I don't understand how Disney thinks a show can only appeal to kids by using silly, overly lighthearted stories. Look at Teen Titans, Young Justice, Star Wars the Clone Wars, etc. All had serious plots, deep characters, and death yet it still appealed to little kids AND older viewers as well. Disney is just too stuck in the past worth the idea that boys like innocent, silly storylines; no, little boys like explosions, Power Rangers, Transformers, explosions, martial arts, and even more explosions.
In all honesty Disney should never have bought Marvel in the first place or Star Wars for that matter. Disney is all about kids stuff, princesses and happily ever after endings. Though they still do need to get kids into superheroes and science fiction from a starting point where continuity and such would be a rather difficult problem for kids to understand.
Bring back Avengers EMH!!!!
this, just make it happen.
This is awesome! :)
Now here's what Marvel should do after they've gotten rid of him:
1. Bring back Avengers: Earths Mightiest Heroes and Wolverine and the X-Men (If they can get money to fund the second season)
2. Make animated direct-to-video movies based on famous stories.
3. Hire better writers for their animated shows.

Man EMH was so AWesome!!! THat show made me fan of the Avengers! And I am still mad Wolverine and the X-Men never got a second season. Damn Nick!!
@captainmarvel4ever: With all of the current shows, yes. But hopefully Guardians of the Galaxy will have the same magic EMH and Spectacular Spider Man had.
@black_claw: that would be nice, it could fill the hole in my heart I got after Green Lantern TAS was canceled.
