Jared Leto's Joker DOES Have Tattoos

There's obviously been a lot of speculation by fans as to whether the tattoos were just for the 75th anniversary pic or if they are for the movie. After yesterdays leak of a scene between Joker and Harley, it appeared as though the tattoos weren't present. Butttt that's just because the pictures were far away. Here's more pictures from the scene yesterday..

Now I know the world probably just ended for some of you overly dramatic types, but I'll try to put my parenting hat on again and tell you to just wait until we see more from the character. I'm not a fan of the tattoos either, but Leto's an amazing actor, and I don't think anyone out there right now is better suited to play the Joker.

I read an interesting theory behind the tattoos that I'd like to share as well. Since this scene appears to be a flashback, and Harley might still be Harleen, it's possible that she didn't actually give him the tattoos. That's a little weird because that would mean Joker probably did them himself, and that he is incredibly self aware. The theory I read though, states that maybe Joker's psyche is so far gone, that he has resulted in becoming a parody of his own self. Personally, I think that sounds pretty awesome. But we have no idea yet what direction the character is going to be taken in. I just wanted to report to you, that tats are here to stay.

I still think people made too much of a deal over Joker having tattoos, he's had them in the comics before.

Still not a grill haha. I didn't like the teeth at first, but it makes so much sense that his teeth would've been punched out that now I love it.

The only think I don't like is the neon green hair with the pasty white skin....I don't think that kind of contrast will translate well on screen. All they need to do is tone down the hair color a bit. Oh, and the damaged tattoo needs to go. But, besides that, he looks great imo

If they truly ruin the JOker, maybe now WB will do a non Joker Batman movie. For the dude with a huge rouges gallery, they seem to use the same on over and over again. Not only that, but he's been done great in Cartoons, Video Games and Movies (twice). Time to put him to sleep till the next reboot.

@saintwildcard: Even if they ruin him, I bet they'll still try to use him in future movies. If DC only built upon things that were done well, then this movie wouldn't have begun in the first place. B|

I think I'm just gonna wait till the movie comes out before I judge his costume anymore, I don't really like it but it won't turn out to be so bad in the film.

While I do think they should give some other villains a shot, I don't think they'll ruin the Joker. If if he is written or characterized weird, Jared Leto will probably be able to save it.

This look is beyond terrible. It looks like this Joker was designed in a joint effort by Waka Flocka, Wiz Khalifa and MGK. He looks so cheesy. Is having your shirt open like that really necessary? Who cares about these crappy tattoos. It looks like he walked up to a vending machine with the worst sticker tattoos ever, applied water and held still for a minute each giving us this steamy pile of white dog sh!t. Don't even get me started on the forehead tattoo, grill, and flashy coat with the Bam Margera glittery Lambo on the side. Where is the green and purple? End rant lol.

The above ^ is somewhat exaggerated, but I guess it really sums up how I feel. I know Leto will give us a great performance because he's a great actor. No question about that. I'm just worried and disappointed with the look and whether this Joker might rap in the movie. I have faith in David Ayer, but it's not too late to reverse this monstrosity of a design.

I'll admit he looks weird but that leaked clip of him, was perfect the way he acted.

@dr_harlequin: @those_eyes: I don't care what anyone says, it's the truth. The look and design of a character in a comic book movie is half the criteria. It's very very important. The other half is the performance by the actor, which I said is in good hands with Leto. But come on, the look is just bad.

I like the look...tattoos, glam and everything. Not surprised at all they went this radical with the appearance. They had to do something drastic to differentiate this Jokers look from Ledgers, just like Ledgers loo from Nicholsons. All's I need now is to hear the voice and the laugh

He's insane. I think "insane" in this society based off the Joker would look just like that. The look works

You think comic fans would have learned their lesson by now,all you guys do is whine like babies,but as soon as the movie drops you'll change your tune....never fails.He has the tatts,deal with it,not gonna enhance or take away from what will probably be a great performance.
