Maybe not on the vine but you wouldn't believe the amount of crap I get for saying I liked the Avengers( or any other marvel movie for that matter) on YouTube or some other website. I almost feel like I have to hide my love of the MCU because of it... Anyone else feel the same way I do?

And there are people that loved The Avengers and were MoS haters, and worship the ground Whedon walked on. I don't see what the big issue with the two sides of the argument is, considering how it's subjective. Neither movie was perfect. I, personally, enjoyed Man of Steel but Avengers wasn't bad.

Glad we could agree on the bottom one, but please understand that I am a fan of the MCU. I love Ironman, Cap 2, GOTG & Avengers AOU a lot and I also think Hulk is extremely underrated.

No. In a fan-mail video they mentioned how it's just a recurring joke and it doesn't mean anything, like most their sins.

And screen junkies doesn't crap on Marvel. They fucking love MCU movies - watch their honest trailer on Avengers and Cap 2. Watch their movie fights segment and see how whenever they bring up the topic of Marvel, they praise it.

More people love the MCU than dislike it. Just because a bunch of troll infested websites where everything non obscure is criticized heavily thinks the MCU is poop, that disn't mean it's some personal crusade. Get over it, MoS got more crap than MCU films ever get.

When I saw it I admitted I was wrong and it wasn't a total trainwreck.

I haven't seen Avengers II yet, but a co-worker of mine did and he said it was awesome. My suggestion is you stop hanging out with negative people.

I like the MCU but probably read more DC books. I prefer the DC TV shows and cartoons, but MOS was dark and joyless. I am fearful for BVS:DOJ, but will see it. I am hyped for Suicide Squad. I want to see Antman, more Guardians of the Galaxy, what the new Spider-Man will be like, and of course more Netflix Marvel shows.

What I am trying to say is that is okay to like parts of a thing and not the whole of it. It is also okay to like two competing things. In the end, that's better for all of us as fans and consumers.
